Cobram have some real quality come in from Darwin including one of the best CHF's from up there. Yes they are coming from a long way back, but expect some marked improvement.

Because the points allocation for each club is too high, and every player that played for your club last season goes down two points. In years to come when the 2 point discount and when the total points drop from 46 is when you will see clubs needing to really plan ahead and recruit smart with future seasons in mind.

Is it as simple to say we have our top 6 already? Plenty of lopsided results, obviously we will be hoping to knock one of those sides out, with our draw, Nathalia, Barooga, Moama in the first 4 rounds it might be tough, Expect Rumba to get better as the season progresses and they might be able to challenge also

Broken leg, but diagnosis after the game was that it wasnt both bones, so some chance he could get back if he wants.

There departures not as talked about as there gains ? Seems they lost almost there entire midfield from last year

They're BIG, really hard to contain early, Avard is a gun, handful fwd and dominant in the ruck(but he was probably needed in both spots at once). We just wore them down and by the last quarter they had more blokes out on their feet than us. No doubt fitness played a role and our intensity after 1/4 time was at a higher level than Barooga. Robbo was their best at Full Back on Reidy, and Shannon Tucker did a great job restricting Downie's influence.
