Has anyone read the riverine herald report regarding the Murray league split?
Thinking of putting 12 teams in a league together and a further 6 in another, wouldn't it make sense to put an even amount together say 9 each?
Also reading about the fixture in there where Norman is quoted saying
"Some teams would play each other twice and others would play each other one and a half times a season"
What the bloody hell does one and a half times a season mean?

Dookie have apparently voted to stay in the KDFL
So the Murray div 2 wont go ahead unless teams from the Picola league are looking to leave which isnt likely at this stage.

I agree Normo, have obviously laid out some big money on recruits but illett is the only genuine gun out of any of them. Good for tonny though, would be good to see them back in September action.

Agree, they might slip into finals but can’t see them doing to much damage, depends if finals will stay top 8 or back to top 6. If the league goes back to top 6 they will be touch and go I’d say! Good to see them moving back up the ladder though! Recruited a lot of young kids but none with really any senior experience, might show come business time.

United putting together another great off-season of recruiting with Mellington, Priest etc. Barooga and Numurkah lost a few, Tonny should be a massive mover with plenty of talent moving across from Ky's reserves to bolster the list alongside Ilett. Rams could improve, East have plenty of gaps to fill. Not much noise elsewhere yet.
