Tough games this week in the elimination finals
Moama v Numurkah, both games this year have been close, with a draw and a close win last week by Moama. Moama in a close one, will see how they drive to Mulwala goes.
Deni v Mulwala - Mulwala beat them by 50 back in April, but a lot of changed since then. If Deni are on early and their discipline is in check, they will win.

Very exciting final series, these games could go either way but don't think anyone would get close to Congupna.
Moama have both times they’ve played

Who wins this weekend
Congupna V Finley
Moama V Deni
Congupna should, be an upset if they don't

Deni pumped Moama last time in rd 14 at Deni, was over by quarter time when Deni were up by 41, and Moama didn't kick a goal until the 3rd quarter.
Time will tell, games at Finley and both teams have played at Finley (Moama by 64 pts in rd 4 and Deni lost to Finley by 10 pts in rd 9). So unsure if Moama is better suited to the Finley oval than Deni.
Will be a good game, both teams in winning form and would be confident and I'm not sure who wins.

Was told he could apply
But didn't cause he would not have got it
Fair enough, i thought thought he was a good coach and good teacher of young players, just unlucky to have not pulled off a couple of quality recruits before the season. Hopefully he stays on as a player

Prelim this week
Reckon Moama has the goods over Finley, it will be close though and anything can happen in a prelim final.

Cold day at Barooga. Pies sold out early. Wind was bitter and blowing strongly to one end.

You need a bit of luck, kicking against the breeze with a minute to go and nailing the six pointer. Well done Finley.

Congupna were too strong last week and should start warm favourites this week.

Kudos to Dale Norman for his comments about the RAC at the medal count.
Dale is a prime example of what type of person is required to run local leagues. The nature of the role in the Hub system means that the role continues to attract people without the necessary experience or local football/netball knowledge. I have lost count of the number of people who have been appointed to manage the KDL during the time of the RAC. By the time many of them learned the lay of the land, they moved on to other opportunities.

As Dale said, it hasn't turned out as planned and has added extra pressure on the clubs. Leagues do not exist without the clubs, leagues should serve the clubs.

With the largest squeeze through points and salary cap coming upon community leagues . Being an admin for a community league within an admin centre ( RAC) would be the toughest gig in footy . Employer wanting to tighten and bestow more admin , whilst knowing clubs / communities can’t handle any further squeezing or admin requirements .
