as the great mike patton said "what year are we in?"
wolfmother are crap

As an avid wolfmother fan it always confuses me as to why anyone who criticises them uses the whole they copied zeppelin or anyone else of their ilk as their argument. Who cares

at the end of the day there is not one band, group or individual musician who has not drawn any inspiration from another artist

Buddylicious - Wolfmother go beyond being inspired by the Zep.
They're a carbon copy of them as much as Airbourne are a carbon copy of AC/DC.

They are okay, be interesting too see where they are in a few years.

Witnessed a great concert last night, the way it should be done. Pearl Jam at their best.

Great guitar riffs, classic drum solos, soaring vocals a bit of humour and ad libbing.

There is nothing better than the whole stadium singing classic hits while the band plays and the singer joins in to start the line and we finish it. Great stuff.

I lament for the kids of today and what they miss with this type of music. Ive had the unfortunate luck to be at several different rap or similiar type concerts and no way do the kids get into the music like they did last night.

There is only so much F... this, F... that, F.... this, F.... that I can take. Boring, repeative, repeat, repeat, repeat. (Although I must admit Jay Z was somewhat ok)

Great concert, if you get the chance to catch up with PJ, take it.

I dont download music, i got about 200 albums so im fine with that, but my friends all use this one soulseek which is pretty nifty i guess, they rave about how good it is, but not as big as limewire and stuff so if your serching for obscure music you probably wont find
It actually works in quite the opposite way, you've got more chance of finding obscure acts and music on soulseek than on limewire as limewire is the popular choice and seems to cater for the mainstream music lovers.
I've found a heap of rare stuff on soulseek that i wouldn't even bother searching for on limewire.
Soulseek is good in that you can set a search that will run infinitely(everytime you are online) until you find what you are after.

Anyone going to U2 this weekend?

Ok Hyper I know you wont be going but I think seriously going to be missing out on some Bruce McAveney "Special"

Actually I'm going on Sunday. I don't really like 'em that much, but it's my best mate's favourite band so I have to. I don't dislike them and I'm sure it will be spectacular.

Impressive concerts by U2. Thankfully Sunday was still full steam ahead with the great music. In fact I think they did an extra song although I think Dave Evans at the end thanking "Sydney" for a great night was a highlight. He tried to recover but the damage had been done.

Also seen enjoying Sunday night was big Fraser Gehrig & Luke Darcy along with old rocker Ronald Dale Barrassi.
