Darren Glass, Anthony Rocca & Cain Ackland would have to be the three that stand out in my mind that I'll have to have in my team...:p:D

i think his playing with you mate...there are many players similar to chad cornes which you could label "must get" but not many can be fitted within the salary cap ie bartel, k.cornes, pavlich etc..

Sam Butler is must get.
2008 version of Priddis/Adcock
I'm not sold on Sam Butler, had injuries all the way through last year and add that to his slow pace, I just can't see how he is going to win his own footy....But he will be underpriced, so he may be worth the pickup...

Not really willing to lock in anyone till i see the prices!!!

I've got half a dozen or so highly desirables, most mentioned above but like you said the team needs to be balanced.

I like Kennelly, and have always had in my DT, frustrating last year but a reliable backman usually none the less..

Goodes and Cooney i'll be keeping a close eye on this year, and also those players being tested in weagles and bombers midfield with a few players missing this year from those 2....

Really looking forward to seeing the prices though

What ?? Didn't you know Ackland is a super agile ruckman that is a reliable ball magnet ?? :D I suggest you watch some footy...! ;)
Yeah Cain Ackland, should be one of the top ruckmen this year. Jump on. Also look at Simon Presti from Collingwood, should do better now without injuries and Clement away ;)

Spot on there mate.....:D
Simon Prestigiacomo is another I'd love to have in my team, as he is a very reliable disposal gatherer, but he may be a tad expensive..!

I expect to have Kane and Chad Cornes along with Pavlich and Cox. Bartel will be way out of reach if I want to have a balanced team.
So on the est. prices your spending appox. $1.6mil on 4 players...appox $5.2mil (at most) left for 26 players...i know you pick rookies for $82,000 but that averages out to $200,000 each for the rest of your side...

just a few thoughts, i myself would love those 4 players also dont get me wrong.....:thumbsu:

Cox sure is best ruckman, ur a richmond man...which players will you be picking this season? Im guessing simmonds at his price...what potential do you see in players like deledio, newman, king etc and how do you see bowden going this year, can he maintain his huge performaces?

not sure on Bowden with mcmahon essentially playing the same role but he should still be able to rack them up. don't have Bowden and McMahon in the same team.
King will go into the midfield so i expect his scores will be pretty high again. Simmonds is a must get.
hold back on Crotchin, he is the only player that hasn't started full training yet so probably won't start round 1.
Nathan Brown seems to have recovered now and i will have him.
I won't have Raines because he killed me last year but he could be good after a bad year last year.
If Deledio is listed in the forward line he is value, wait until pre season to find wether he is playing as a mid or a forward.
