can get any radio station from around the world, which means pretty much any live sports commentary you like

Reeder is the best RSS on the app store and has the option to send RSS stories to Instapaper which is an app which lets you read articles on the internet without having the internet.

Highly recommend both.

Bought a $20 itunes card today and looking at getting some apps.

i dont think racing apps suit the iphone. There;s only so much you can do with the tilt / on screen buttons. Really needs the 8 buttons plus directional thumbpad to play these games properly, but i'll give it a try and let you know.

It's not tooooo bad, i mean it's only $2.99 on the itunes store.. but yeah I just hate the whole tilt thing. I had massive problems with over-correction and that... the sort of thing I never have trouble with with the wii or ps3.

You've got to press the right side of the screen to accelerate, and the left side to brake. The thing vibrates when you go flying into a wall, but your car is none the worse off. I did notice I got tyre wear - after I went off the track heaps the car icon up the top shows yellow wheels, which affects handling.

The championship is just a few courses of 5 laps each. There is qualifying though, and the weather forecast does change so you can select what treads you want pre-race.

One thing that might be pretty cool is the multiplayer.. i didn't test this out, but it connects via bluetooth.

The game runs pretty smoothly, and given the graphics that's not bad. I was expecting some jerking. None of that at all.


But yeah, i play F1 on the playstation for hours.. but I wouldn't be able to play this one for too long.. it's too tricky, small and annoying..

I'm not sure they provide refunds either, but you could ask (or squint really hard )

As for racing games nothing beats Fastlane for me. Really has me hooked and good difficulty levels as well. I was really surprised with how smooth the tilt control is - drifting is fun, just a quick tilt of the device. I got the full version when it was on sale for $1.19, but I suggest you try the Lite version first (as I did).

Justin tv would rape your usage. On computers it takes up around 100mb an hour.

It's crap though because all the streams I wanna watch are password protected and the app doesn't allow for
streams that require passwords.
