5 Menegola - somehow playing like peak Dangerfield, with better ball use. His engine combined with superior reading of the play has made him an elite ball winner this season, who provides help all over the field

4 Hawkins - I'll say it again, when Hawkins is on like this and we use him properly, it lifts the whole team. Completely rattles defences and then the others around him join in the fun. Dominant in one outs and usually nullifies any sub-par ball scrambled in anyway.

3 Rohan - Pressure, intensity but also genuine skill and class. Got involved in several important plays and finished a few off. Having the second dangerous forward up there makes a huge difference and also brings out the best in Tom.

2 Dangerfield - Won less of it but had more score involvements than anyone on the field with unusually precise kicking. Less grunt work but more class - this might actually be the Danger we need.

1 O'Connor - Had to pick a defender as they put on a stellar show but MOC had the perfect blend of opponent shut down, intercepting play and smart rebound. Good decision maker and supreme in 1v1s. He's becoming Stewart-like which is a compliment of the highest order.

Stewart, Bews, Steven and Duncan all very unlucky. Player their roles extremely well.
