LeBron is scoring less but his assists/boards/FG%/3PT% are up handily and turning it over less. Vis a vis an even more complete player than he was last year.

Melo averages 1.9 assist a game (last time I checked). No MVP candidate should average less than two assists IMO.

i agree that KD is good enough on his own. but you gotta wonder how much pull espn has sometiems
Considering ABC show the finals and ABC is ESPN. I'd say a huge amount. ESPN want higher ratings, how about pitting the previous 2 years' MVPs against each other (A side story they can make with LeBron vs Durant)

LeBron and Durant have to be the favorites with Melo and CP3 very close behind. If James can improve his FT% and continue to put up good stats, he should win the MVP.

Uh...yeah alright then:rolleyes:

Melo/Durant are the two clear favourites

Just a personal opinion, for someone of Melo's quality two assist shouldn't be hard to manage.

So reports are LeBron has won it again. Not suprised, dude has been immense this year.

4th MVP. Not a bad decision.

Feel sorry for Melo. He would get my vote. The knicks are a lottery team without him. If the heat lost Lebron they would still be a top 6 team in the east.

Lebron is still the best in the game.

So it wasn't unanimous because someone gave Melo a first place vote, and five voters didn't have Durant in their top five.

Can we start publishing who votes for who yet?

Me's thinkin the Voters knew Lebron was taking it in a landslide, so gave him 1st place, then just picked random's for the rest. That list of Votes makes no sense...
