Pretty much a solid team effort, which is what is going to win us games.

Very impressed with McLean's debut possible Rising Star for the week, looks the goods. Again Rivers impresses, Robbo playing well but doesn't know how to stay on his feet. Heffernan had a great game against Pavlich and Nicho good down back as well as Whelan. Green good as well.

Get on White for the Brownlow.

McLean, Whelan, and Green could easily have got votes.

Heffernan was unusually good until the last quarter. He definitely looks better when he has the likes of Thompson, Read and McLean to support him.

Whelan, Wheatley and Broadbridge are THE most underrated players in the competition.

My little bit, having seen only the 2nd half!

3 White - what an enormous effort to ruck all day.

2 Vardy - great goals at the end. Best game I reckon I've seen him play for a while.

1 McLean - what a debut! Just the little things he did were so important. McLean's shepherd allowed Vardy to kick that great goal, and a few of his soccers off the ground were handy as well

One more thing about Brock is that at half time I think he had 1 kick & 5 handballs, however in the wet he was smart enough to abandon the handball. It's only one game but it was a damn fine debut.
