Rocky was quoted saying he expects to spend more time up there but also said he'll play in the midfield too. I think he just sees the Power midfield as a lot deeper than Brisbane's and is maybe just assuming he won't get as much time in there? I don't know, but when you've got Gray, Wingard, Motlop already up there it doesn't make sense to have Rocky up there too

Perhaps he kicked a bunch of goals in his last 4 games because he spent more time forward as a result of the sore shoulder? Also Fagan knew he was planning to leave so less mid time?
He's locked for me barring injury because of his ceiling and potential to average substantially above his starting price. I'd rather take the risk starting with him than take the risk not starting with him. I can't see PS helping us wrt Rocky's role.

Yeah he's priced at 102, I'd rather pay that now than be trying to find the coin if he does kill it and averages 120-125. Say he only holds his average of 102, wouldn't be enough to be in your final team but would be your last upgrade. I much prefer to spend the extra 30k and get Rocky over the likes of Fyfe/Parker/Cripps

Barring injury, I'll stake my DT reputation on the fact that Rocky will average a minimum of 110 in 2018.

I'm with you there. If he was priced at 112-115, I probably wouldn't go there. At 102 it's an easy pick for me, potentially 20 points under priced. How many games will he play though? Will a new club change his injury fortunes?

Not that I play fantasy, but I'm quite sure that putting a squad of 30 is easier on RDT than it is in fantasy this year . Their rookie prices are considerably higher as are many of the mid pricers. Armitage eg, is $459,000 on fantasy whereas he is only $389,700 in RDT.
I've just had a quick look in "my team" in DT Talk and they seem to have a lot more rookies and/or mid pricers than we need in RDT.
Probably fair enough too, considering the huge number of trades they get.

Has been this way for a few years now hasn't it?
Injured players eg Wells, Kerridge, Jaegar ect returning are much more expensive in AFL F than RDT
For me the fantasy 2018 seems a fair bit easier than 2017 based on numbers just whether or not the rookies ect will be there this year ect like last

As I said earlier, I don't play fantasy. I think it is a shitty format in comparison to RDT.
It is just such a shame that due to it being the official AFL game, it gets all the promotion and publicity.
I used to read DTTalk religiously but now only look at it for specific articles such as Deck of DT and Jeppa's juniors as it has now basically become almost 100% fantasy relevant.

There doesn't appear to be any predictability with fantasy prices this year. It should be simply last year's average multiplied by the magic number with discounts for fewer than 10 games last year. There are so many anomalies to this though.
Anyway, as I've said myself, this is not the site to be talking about that crappy competition.

I was a religious DTT reader too. But now the boys are paid by the AFL everything is all about Fantasy. Sad that they barely even mention the game they played for so long..

I'd imagine they are not allowed to, probably part of the AFLs deal with them, so they give those types of mentions to their DTT staff writers instead. They don't talk about Supercoach either also, whereas they used to have a crack at that also.

I think Robinson is going to be more popular of a pick than you would initially think. On Parish, I think if you are going to pick him, it needs to be in the forward line. Waste of a midfield spot imo.

I like it. Some interesting selections including McDonald, Curnow and Petracca hopefully pay off for you. No Gawn is somewhat alarming but i like the rucks you have so no need to change. Rookies are very different to mine but given they are just placeholders so it doesnt really matter.

Rather than going rooks as forwards I've gone more mid price. I have all of Stringer, Christensen and Ah Chee as forwards atm.
