In no particular order:
Gary O'Donnell
Bomber Thompson
Darren Bewick
Tim Watson
James Hird
Terry Daniher
Nic Martin(already!)
Jason Johnson
Gavin Wanganeen
Joe Misiti

Love watching pure footballers…

Hird, Mercs, Baker, Longy, T Watson and D Rioli probably top my list.

D Rioli had everything other than the right athletic profile. Superb hands, beautiful kick, unbelievably strong through his legs and hips and he was a hard bugger too.

Tim Watson - all time favourite.
Leon Baker - if he started earlier, he would be an all time great. Fascinating story, too.
Bill Duckworth
Pretty much the whole 84/85 side
Hird
Long
Jobe

Too many to name, actually.

I've spent way too much time on this...and probably still forgotten someone obvious.

1. Bewick
2. M. Harvey
3. Misiti
4. Hird
5. Lloyd
6. Hooker
7. JJ
8. Mercuri
9. Hardwick
10. Fletcher
11. Lucas
12. Rioli
13. Lovett
14. Caracella
15. Cupido
Couldn't fit the #32 from that premiership team in your top 15?

If we are talking about players who we simply enjoyed watching then a few from yesteryear certainly were enjoyable.

Justin Blumfield - seemed to be Jimmy Bartel lite from the early noughties. Never the same after going to Richmond. My favourite player from that flag team.

Ricky Dyson - I know the joke was Dyson and a third rounder but the bloke did end up playing 114 more AFL games than you or I. Nearly always put in and that left foot kick from the boundary in the David Hill ACL / Paddy Ryder coming of age game was a thing of beauty after coming in as a late change.

Paddy Ryder - Genuine pleasure to watch him in his formative years. Thought he was in the top handful of rucks in the league at one stage.

Michael Hurley - What could have been if we left him at FB from day 1.

I enjoyed were Alex Browne (shush ant555), rated him but didn't make the grade.

My all time favourite is Simon Madden and I have a huge soft spot for so many from the 84/85 sides. Watson, Williams, Neagle, TD, Duckworth, Baker, Van der Haar, Ezard, Hawker.

I've had plenty of favourites since but the hero worship of an 8 or 9 year old has that era as my go to.

My biggest "what if" is Ramanauskas. He was building into something special when his career was crippled by cancer but he could've been anything.

Ah shit, forgot about Rama.. Him and Blumfield were my first two favourite players. \

Fun fact. Rama came through Stingrays with my uncle who ended up being rookie drafted to Collingwood. Was even a best man at his wedding iirc
