That 78 tour show is one of their best, only Mac as a supporting musician. Very punky at times. Only bad marks for Keith's outfits.
And this performance of Beast has got to be one of the best.

I'm not a huge fan of the Stones, my father was when he was growing up, but I don't think I could even name 15 songs that I like. Out Of Time and Gimme Shelter and two definites though.

Gimme Shelter is a classic of all rock. Never quite matched live. An all-time headphone track to pick up to all the stuff low in the mix. Compared to other rock songs it is really a terrifying mix.

Yep, Gimme Shelter at #28 is a travesty ... perhaps the best song of its era by any band.

Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker), Happy, Bitch, Slave, Angie, Dead Flowers ... so many more worthy

Fantastic songwriters, it's easy to rattle off great songs, Tops, Salt of the Earth, Moonlight Mile, Shine a Light.
