I think I'll watch The Amazing Race tonight and catch up with MKR tomorrow, though I'll probably watch the last half hour after TAR to see who wins. Hmmm... Pay Ru. Easily.

You'd think scoring 57/60 would be a shoo in to win and then the cricketers get a 59. When they cut away from Manu pulling a face on the chocolate dessert my first thought was 'Uh-oh' but then I remembered how many times MKR has lied with their editing to manufacture drama (like pretending the boys dropped the dessert when putting it in the fridge), I realized the judges probably loved it. Let's hope the cricketers can knock Ibby & Romel for a six.

Stayed up to watch the episode online. Both entrees I would have loved. The same with the mains. It's only the use of coconut in Andy and Ruby's dessert which would have tilted me toward Matt and Luke. That should have been the Grand Final. True amateurs cooking as good as, if not better, than professional chefs. And nice guys, not pricks, like the other Finalists. Team Matt and Luke for sure.

Yep hope they win as well, but Romel and his boy toy seem to be flavour of the month, so it would be a surprise to see them lose.

Their not a couple.
Ibby made it clear early on in the show that he's not a homosexual, he's heterosexual. Romel said he was Gay. This was after Josh said he thought they were a gay couple. The two are just good friend's. I think it's great to see on TV a straight man and a gay man having a close friendship like this. It's actually very ground breaking for TV.

I'd prefer the salmon, especially with the roe on top.

The duck ravioli with mushroom sauce sounds delicious. How did they screw up the pasta dough? Not enough sauce? They've really messed up this course.

Sorry Ibby and Romel, I am not a fan of Middle Eastern food, especially the spices used. I love octopus, but not the way you're making it. Barramundi is great, but not a fan of fennel.

Ibby taught Romel a lot? What? I thought that Ibby never went into his restaurants' kitchens. Cheats. Another screw up with Luke''s beef cheeks sauce. What next? Nice save on the sauce. Probably better than what they had planned originally.

Ibby and Romel's dessert seems a bit heavy but I think I'd like the pisachio ice cream. I'll take the panna cotta and peach sauce.

It's nice to see that one team presented a variety of flavours tonight, not a variation on a theme.

Ibby and Romel to win because their dishes were "exotic". Hope I'm wrong.

Matt and Luke are worthy winners.

I think I enjoyed the drama more than the food this year. Josh should be nominated for a Logie for Best arseh*le in a TV Series(Reality) with Romel as runner up.

Great result, two guys who were humble the whole way through the competition, never reverted to strategy at any time to protect them selves, and could probably use the money a lot more. And improved their cooking the whole way through the show and showed in the end they can seriously cook.

I totally agree, but Ibby and Romel winning would have brought the show more newspaper/New Idea/whatever-cooking-magazine publicity. Good guys winning doesn't sell. If only Josh and Austin would have won... *sigh* LOL

Haha no chance the pretend yanks were winning, that would be the worst for publicity.
