A couple of points
1) Why would anyone want to leave this wonderful country, despite who is in govt? We have a wonderful and fair democracy, based on the tried and tested Westminster system. We all get a chance to vote for whom we believe will be best for us personally and for the country as a whole.
2) For gods sake you people who dont like howard or the conservatives, shut up. The people have spoken, the people have voted, the people have giving the incumbant an even bigger mandate. What does this tell you?
Well it tells me that the majority are happy with the govt. On a two party preferred basis of 52-48.
3) For the Howard backers. just remember that on a TPP basis 48% of the electorate wanted an alternative, that is a lot of people, so dont think the conservatives have a dynasty. Even when Mr Kennett was at his height, 46% of Victorians didn't vote for him TPP.
4) Who in hell wants to live with a bunch of Kiwi's, Kanaks, or Frogs?
5) Long live our democracy, and our right to vote. I didn't vote for Howard (or Latham for that matter) but accept and respect the decision by the men and women of Australia.
So there, my little spiel. I dont class myself as a leftie, or a psued or any other derisive names consertatives attempt to give people with different views to them. I suppose I am a secular pluralist/ humanist who believes wholeheartedly in the democratic processes of this country.
