My brother however has met Evan and Bella and after meeting them really wants them to win. He dined in the restaurant ($170 for 2 people!) and said the food was only okay. However he was struck by how well presented and interesting Evan and Bella were that he really wants them to win.
(For the record he had the tasting plate which he liked, the wagu beef which was ok - said it tasted like any other piece of beef he has had - and some sort of dessert which he was disappointed in - too small for the price)
My sister went to Sydney for a family Christening the other week.They went to Pink Salt and were bitterly dissapointed.
They were rushed through the meal.
Had the main then within 1/2 and hour out the door after dessert.No chance to have a drink and chat, just rushed.No pleasant at all.
Evan was rude to staff.The staff were very very busy and Evan just walked around and talked, not helping out at all.
The food was average not great.

My opinion on the contestants
Bella : She's really fake and so big-headed, Like when she goes "Do you think everybody's gonna gang up on me cuz we're number 1?", and then evan's like, "Nobody could gang up on you, youre too nice!". WHATEVER! She's a mega b**ch, little miss plastic fantastic peroxide is what i call her... i do think shes heaps pretty though.
Evan : I dont mind him all that much, but at moments i just think "What a f**khead?", and judging only from what ive seen on TV, i agree with what the secret reviewer said about him just walking around doing basically nothing! and when he smashed the glass and apparently just stood their and watched as they cleaned it up.
Nathan : I think him and Georgia make a cute couple and he has a nice personality, I think they could win it cuz they sure do campaign hard!
Georgia : I think shes really pretty aswell and she works hard, but it does seem she gets aggitated easily.
Todd : I dont like Todd too much, he and jon are really competitive! i think hes got potential to be a real bastard and to be honest i dont think him and francesca are that suited to each other, they dont seem to close and it seems theyre having lots of small arguments all the time. he and jon are very competitive
Francesca : STOP SINGING DRAMA QUEEN!
John : People say hes up himself and htis is probably the bias in me but i just dont see it! i think hes really nice and caring and considerate.
Justine : she acts emntal sometimes but shes still doing her job and so what if shes having a lot of fun whilst doing so?

The superchef thing in Adelaide was a little lame but atleast they're having some fun and making an effort. Same thing with the jar of the goose of the week or something or rather.

It's obvious Bella doesn't know much at all about restaurants and food, it's basically a chance for her to do interior decorating, fashion designing at the same time. She thought Fran was rude because she was being honest, which is what she should be doing..then Evan went in the diary room and accused Fran of not being honest because she wants to get rid of their 'threat'. Fran isn't lying about the restaurants so they're better off, but obviously Evan & Bella would think that as they're NUMBER ONE!

OK.I'm a bit behind but that's usual as Im west australian. Firstly good to see the tossers at The Mint Leaf closed down. Well deserved IMO.
Francesca and Georgia are froot loops. If thats their reaction to NOT being evicted, I'd hate to see them carry on when they are! Francesca obviosly went to the wrong studio for auditions - why didn't someone tell her that X-Factor was Studio 10?

Georgia and Nathan seem outwardly OK, but I suspect they are stuck-up and full of themselves.
Well enough's been said about the mad cow at the Greedy Goose, but I must say I liked the honesty of John over the "cardboard" incident. Good to see one of these contestants admit they are human and not blame everyone else.
So at this stage I guess I'm favouring adelaide, but who really cares.

A friend was in one of the restaurants not up for nomination last night for a meal
They said unless the footage is cut by 7 that was shown last night, then it clearly shows that all the girls ganged up on Brisbane.Nasty stuff apparently.
Fancy getting marked down for less parking, when its not a criteria.MMMMMMMMM.

I didn't see the girls gang up on Brisbane at all. In fact Georgia gave them top marks for service as one example. And as for car-parking - it is something people notice at a restaurant, there's been many restaurants I haven't stopped in because there was no carparking - it all goes to ambience.
It was hardly anymore nasty than Francesca's behaviour in every other restaurant - her nit-picking performance over the salt in Whisk was embarrassing.
Also thought it was very poor form for Francesca to send Todd home to get her shoes while they were serving food - personally I thought it was more professional for the head chef to be at the restaurant than for her to have particular shoes.

She said that when she was at the GG on Friday, the staff were gloating that JandJ's plan worked.It was set up to vote off the 2 most popular restaurants.
The staff at GG were non attentive, ie no drinks order for 2 hours, that sort of stuff, walking apst bragging, slagging off at both Sydney and Brisbane.Not pleanant stuff.
I think the staff forget that the patrons can hear everything thats said.

I went to Restaurant Louvre on the weekend.We had a wonderful time.The meal was the best I have had, worldwide.The staff attentive, the atmosphere classic.Subtle, enjoyable, peaceful.I will go again.These guys know how to run a restaurant, to make you feel special, let you be,elegant.

I haven't been to the Greedy Goose (and probably won't) but I've heard fantastic reviews from the 4 people I know who have been.

I can't belive I'm about to say this...but I'm really starting to like the Adelaide couple.
As crazy as they are, they have fun and it seems to rub off on people, me included watching on TV.
I still don't know about Nathan and Georgia. I want them to win cos it's Melbourne, but otherwise, I'd probably have to go for Adelaide.
I can't stand either of the Brisbane idiots - one is more full of themselves than the other, and Evan is really annoying. Bella I don't mind. she dumb, but otherwise harmless.

Brisbane is by and afar the best restaurant, between the 2 restaurants.
They have no staff problems,it runs efficiently.They see, care about their staff as not once have their had any bitchiness towards anything.
I personally would prefer the owners of my restaurant to be meticulous about all things to do with my food, and quality thereof of everything to do with the restaurant, than to have people who have not got a clue, and refuse to accept the guidance of professional people, Ala Sydneys Chef is not happy, bottling up things.He is treat like a 2 year old by Bella and Co.Your staff are your experieince , they are your business.
Evan has continually shown his arrogance.He changed the staffs pay from casual to perm part time, thus droppng the rate by a huge amount.He forgot to tell said staff, and when he was caught red handed, was angry as he works harder than they do.Not a clue.Not a care for any of his staff's needs.Not a clue of any of the workplace regulations he is legally required to adhere to as an owner of a business.Cross he got caught.
Evan rushes people through his restaurant, with the bottom line, profit the most improtant.Saying he has 2 sittings.Not caring that people are rushed and not enjoying their meals.My family went their, and they were eating they had their main on the table to eat, and 30 mins later were out the door.
Evan is rude to his staff.Not even having a staff meeting as promised to address any issues staff have.Cutting off his staff on camera, telling them Bella is boss and what she says goes always is not correct even nice in business.
Evan has industrial and leagal guidleines he should be within, and he shows skant disregard for those realities of life in business.
To run a raffle to keep the money from is woeful.But to say its going to Breast Cancer, and not actaully having the raffle registered as you are required under law, not actually naming the actual Breat Cancer Orginastion you are giving the money to.To not actually give that money over.oiii, Whre has the money gone???.
I think and auditor would have a field day in that place. I think the ATO will have a field day if they closed, plus the Industrial relations people.
You can't make people work their asses off for you, pay them incorrectly, not care that you are doing it.Whine you work more than your staff.Run a raffle to make more money for yoursel.Disrespect your staff.

I have only been to one restaurant, the one in Brisbane,it was a surprise by my boss actually. He knew I watched the show, and he took me there to say thanks and well done on a work issue.We all had a great night.
