So after false starts I still haven't managed to get in a second session.

Instead this week we played Jamaica (which I won) and Alien Frontiers (which I won).
Thoughts on Jamaica? Its one i've always heard good things about, yet i don't know anyone who's actually played it.

Is it a weighty game?

So I attended another session on Friday night.

By this time our party was hiding in a temple full of the dead bodies of evil monks, with the apparition of a war god floating in the sky above while three armies converged on the site.

**** me things get out of hand quickly in this game.

I mainly hung back and made "funny" comments while the leader of our party spoke in oldy-worldy language to a few people and engaged in trial by combat with the traitorous elements of one of the armies. He won and we secured the loyalty of the army.

That sorted, we sought out the King's army and showed that the whole thing was a set-up. King pissed off.

So it was back to the evil temple for... I forget why because the third army was probably the toughest and was descending on that very spot. Plus evil war god in sky above.

Entering via a secret passage we stumbled upon three priests performing some sort of evil ritual around a sarcophagus. Skeletons sprang from nowhere and laid into us.

Then a fourth, nastier looking priest emerged along with tougher skelton things. We killed the monsters.

It was only after we killed the first three priests that we realised this was a suicide ritual and we were just making things worse. Violence is not always the answer.

We poured all our love into the sarcophagus to calm the evil therein. As a Barbarian Halfling with no spells of love or healing I did the only obvious thing and dropped my pants, climbed onto the sarcophagus and hugged it, smearing my rude bits all over it. Lust and love are the same thing to us primal beings.

The tough priest was held still with a spell of holding still and we set off to deliver him to the King.

Yep sounds like something the German would design. How was the rest of the party with their lurve?

Just to reiterate this, I can't manually find the board on a regular machine using Chrome either, it doesn't appear in the left menu at all

Jim Boy has not updated the menu yet.

What if you scroll down the page ?

What do you mean by scroll down the page?

I get the Home > Forums > BigFooty Geek > Board Games and RPGs at the top and bottom of the page, and if I open the BigFooty Geek category from there I get a forum list of Computers and Technology, Video Games, BigFooty Game Servers, Comics and Animation, and Board Games and RPGs, but the first 4 appear in the left menu under "Not Footy Related" only, plus one is reversed as 'Animation and comics"

Friday's session was D&D in a new campaign. SOMEONE who was not attending suggested i use their character, but it seemed that his character sheet was nowhere to be found so I borrowed someone else's character from a different night.

Great character! Fighter wielding dual axes. I was used as the point man suspiciously often, busting down doors and springing traps.

The dual-axes were great, as I had two attacks each round. Dispatching one enemy with the first, I could hurl the other at another enemy. I think we encountered about 15 enemies including standard guards, a wizard and a trio of Bugbears. My axes struck the killing blow on about 6 or 7 of them. I did not think it too many.

And we KIND of killed the only being who could have given us the location of the central goal for the campaign. Sorry Davemonkey !

Ahh well. That will just make the DM go off and build his own thing.

(Idiots) o_O

And you found out about the awesome glass staff we destroyed that you could have used, though we had agreed not to mention it.
