hey u can blow smoke up my ass about this - its hard not to be proud of what ben is achieving - btw he is the lead singer - he started in a punk band at 15 (pocket rocket) and progressed from there - its great he plays the sorta stuff I listen to. He isnt worried telling ppl he got his influences from me.

Congratulations to your son. I've played a couple of BDO's in Perth and it is such an awesome feeling. Even if you're on a small out of the way stage it's great to have your name on the bill. Hope he playes a blinder. Also hope he's not playing at the same time as someone he really wants to see, but its better to be playing than watching. I remember being just about to count in our first song and catching an earful of Blink 182 and being totally inspired. And I'm not a Blink fan.
