Well an average day. One winner in each sport. The Miami/Cleveland NBA game was well on target to reach 190 at half time but the 3rd quarter had just 30 odd points scored!

I reckon I will start putting the units bet down which gives some idea of the confidence I have in each selection.

NHL - Detroit to beat Phoenix - $1.53 - 5 units - LOSER
multi - (NHL)Detroit -1.5/(NHL)Nashville/(Tennis)Federer - $7 - 1 unit LOSER

27/1 (cont)
Tennis - Federer to beat Davydenko - $1.33 - 20 units WINNER

I know I shouldn't chase my losses but that pathetic Detroit effort has me fuming! How any side can lead by 2 goals with 4 minutes left and still go down is beyond me! Gutless effort.

OVERALL - +.60 Units

I know you are trying to help people win by getting them to follow your picks, but imo its kinda pointless just posting picks without explanations.

BTW tight losses happens to every punter, but by raging a massive number of units on something that is seemingly certain it can screw u in the long run when it doesnt come up. Emotion always makes you eager to rage bet and I've done it plenty of times and have gotten raped (even though it has come through the majority of the time). The point is only back a certainty that hard because you are certain its going to win rather then you are only doing it because you recently lost a bet. (Its what I ask myself when Im betting large)

If Federer didnt save those break points in the second set when he was down 3-1 he wouldve loss no doubt. Nothings ever certain in sport. GL with any future bets btw.

That's bull. Federer could have gone down 2 sets to love and I'd still back him to come through. Federer is a champion and Davydenko has shown time and again that he can't handle the big match pressure. He was paying $1.30 when I got on - free money. :)

You make some good points. I thought Federer was gone! I must admit that my emotions do get the better of me after an annoying loss.

Ok I'll correct my statement - There was a decent chance he could have lost lol :D Thing is we'll never know.

I thought Federer was free bank interest at the US Open final last year against a grand slam final virgin in Del Potro and I had to wave good bye to a grand or so. Thing is upsets do occur. You just have to avoid them enough to make a profit.
