This will shock you sabre. Freo look to have a pretty fair side this week. Theyve named Modra and Haselby, plus added 5 experienced pretty good players in Jones, Waterhouse, Kickett, Presscott and Norrish.

They could well pull off a win here. id tip adelaide on the absis of home ground advantage, but adelaide would want to be on their game, otherwise they could well get run over.

Heres your chance Freo...

Well by golly if Macca can tip us, then were a shoe in.

I was shocked Haselby was playing and I wouldnt be suprised if he is a late withdrawel.
Personally we have every chance of wining this game. But our enlightened and numerous Crows supporters on this board will undoubtably attempt to prove me wrong.

And so begins the waiting game.

Its funny every week so far this year I have felt that we have had a good chace to win and we are 0-6, this week I think we've got Buckleys so we will probably thump them.

My biggest concern is the fitness of some of our players, You have to question if Jones, Haselby and Modra are really fit if they aren't then we run the risk of being blown out of the water.

Is he injured ???

Is Tony modra really injured or is he just winding down to his retirement ???

This morning I just found out that he is selling his new house in Mosman Park.

From what I can gather, a lot of off football stuff is happening in his life at the moment.

Interesting info gavsta. It kind of confirms my suspicions that Modra will probably retire soon. IMO he never seemed to recover from the mcintosh incident where he buggered his shoulder, or should I say mcintosh buggered it for him.

By the way gavsta, how did you manage to register in Dec1999 and only have a single post?

Mystery !!!

I'm not sure.

I don't recall registering with BigFooty but I received an email today teeling me about the Message Boards.

I must have registered back then when I was looking for more AFL stuff on the net and then totally forgot about it being that not too much footy was being talked about back then.

They had that Modra rumour on Baz & Barra this morning but I got to work before they actually confirmed it. Is it true??

Adelaide at home are going to be tough, but I'm still not convinced they are the real thing this year. Fremantle are so close to playing 4 quarter footy it must be heartbreaking for the fans to have to endure the game being taken away from you.

Still, I had to go with Adelaide at home considering they weren't shamed against Hawthorn.

didnt he just buy the house?????? anyway what i wanna know is DID HE COME OVER OR NOT??????? cos one of your reps (Ross Glendinning i think) on the news over here says he caught an early flight over and someone in perth is saying hes in perth. and someone even said that he was visiting his folks which is bollocks cos my friend lives near them, and he was nowhere to be seen, altho i have heard that he is coming down to his farm more often so maybe he is coming home.

oh well for some wierd arse reason i hope you guys win (only cos i hate adelaide more)

Well, to the disappointment of his legion of fans, Mods doesn't look like he'll be playing tomorrow night. All we need now is a late withdrawal from Hasleby and everything will be great.

I don't know what to expect from Freo tomorrow, they could come out and play really well, be real fired up and perform with supreme passion, or they could be quite terrible, resulting in an easy win. Who knows which Freo will turn up??

I've actually made a series of bets on Freo winning so I'm covered whether we win or lose.

i heard that modra didn't train on thursday cause his ankle is still a bit sore so he possibly wont play
hasleby i recon still has a sore back and will possibly be a late withdrawl
jones is possbly still sore but i recon he will be fine come game time tonite
