1 - It's only February
2 - Skills even at this stage of the year are terrible for top level teams
3 - Danny Jacobs' ears are bigger than Adam Gilchrists
4 - Murphy looks great in blue and white stripes
5 - Umpires still ordinary
6 - As much as any man can love another in a non-hommo way(not that theres anything wrong with that), I love David Mensch
7 - I don't care what time of the year it is, it's fanfriggintastic beating McEssendon
8 - The 'rumours' about McVeigh may well have some solid foundation..........
9 - Is it just me or is there a little bit of Ray Card in Matty Scarlett?
10 - More injuries in one game than last season for McE, they were blessed last year

But still, belt it fair up yer clacker McEssendon'synch, bring on the excuses, I couldn't give a toss, I'm gonna have a ripper day at work tomorrow

Agree with it all Max

Except for the bit about David Mensch, it is still only February. This game should keep him in until at least round 6.

Love the Nsync bit, keep it coming, now bring on a 15 goal hammering of Port and we're set for the Ansett Cup!

My favourite part of the match was the cutaways to the Essendon fans in the crowd. The Kennett Look. Most of them looked like they simply would not believe it was happening. Twice in a row. Welcome back to the real world, Dons fans, the world the rest of us inhabit. I saw you lot at the finals last year. And I for one hope the readjustment is as painful as possible.

Turdlow, everyone has already worked out you are g4e, so come clean. We lost big deal, there is still a lot of football to be played before the Grand Final. I also thought you said you were going to support the Blues from now on. Oops Cats won so you are back on the bandwagon.

My favourite part of the match would have to have been the 24 minute mark of the last quarter sitting on the second level, waving bye bye bye to the Essendon Nsync'ers.

Add to that, it looks as though the wraps on Cameron Mooney were right, we got the best deal. Sorry Rooboys.

Bring on Port! Geelong 25 16 166 def Port 11 9 75, Geelong into the semi's, Woo Hoo!!!!!

Some Essendon supporters looked like they were going to hang themselves after the game. They can't handle losing [they should be use to this year
]

The highlight of the game was seeing Essendon supporters leaving early.

p.s Has EASTY come out from under the bed yet ?

Yeah, yeah, typical Geelong....getting way too over-excited over one performance. I seem to remember Cat fans wetting themselves over one good performance by Brett Spinks....remember him????

But anyway, is Hocking giving Mooney tips on what to do with his hair these days? If he dyed it red, he'd look like Ronald McDonald.

Well, don't forget they've also picked up Mitchell White. It's part of their long term strategy of picking up 20 more premiership winning players from other clubs, sticking them on the field at once, and then presenting them to the Cat faithful (bless their little hearts) as a "premiership side"

There is still 5 weeks till the season starts, guys. Don't get too excited over an Ansett Cup match. There is a long, long way to go.

We couldn't make the semi-finals even if we won last night, so i don't think our fans are too worried. JUBJUB, I don't think the fans were going to hang themselves ha ha. Gee, don't embellish anything next time! I know we'll bounce back........ and watch out when we do.

I don't detect a hint of jealously do I Shinboners?
What has Cameron Mooney even done to you to receive the crap your giving him?
Your just downright jealous at the fact that our pickup (Mooney) is rewarding the faith put into him whereas your pickup (Dickhead Colbert) is going to be the biggest waste of time in history and oh, does it hurt!!

Hey Catman

All I'm pointing out is the lack of perspective held by you Geelong fans. But don't take my word for it, take your coaches. Don't you remember last year when Bomber Thompson blasting you Geelong fans for blowing things way out of proportion? The way that you guys are the fastest onto the bandwagon, and the quickest off it when things turn sour? The way your players can turn from chumps into champs and back again? Sometimes within a quarter
So, Mooney is a champ now....can't wait for your reaction when he goes back to being a chump. The truth is, Mooney is somewhere in the middle, but you Cat fans are too bi-polar to realise it.

By the way, the way you guys keep on bringing up the Colbert deal (and it was gocatsgo that brought it up), I'd say that his rejection of the Cats still cuts deep. A bit like unrequited love.......

Excuse my ignorance!
It is referring to the large number of teenybopper bandwagon supporters that Essensync have attracted over the past two years.

Ie, a large portion of the crowd look like they really should belong at an N'Sync concert.

OK. I for one, had I been at that game, would NOT have left early, under any circumstances. Even if the roof was going to fall in, I'd stay and be crushed with my players!
And I think we can handle losing. I'm fine now...it's not even real football yet!
Oh, and please, what ARE the rumours on McVeigh?

Is Wayne Carey still taking hairdressing tips from Jason Dunstall.

Both should combine and write a book. They could call it "101 ways to try and cover a bald spot"

Isn't this from a North supporter who got excited when North picked up Calthorpe and Olerenshaw ?

I for one was barracking for Geelong last night - for the pure fact of seeing Essendon get beaten. I don't think their so-called "depth" is as good as what it is made out to be. If the injuries keep coming - these youngsters will have to perform. Whether they can is another thing.

You should me a North supporter who got excited over Calthorpe and I'll show you someone who should get fitted for a straight jacket right away. Actually, make that two...it could help Calthorpe lose some weight.

As for Ricky, I'll let Spidergirl take care of you.
