This is my first post :D

Today i think we played well but not our best.
I thought our standouts were Bucks,Josh and Burnsy.
I was really impressed with how the defence ran it out in the absence of Clement. Cloke, Presti (got me real excited with his runs out of defence :D )Shaw and benny Johnson were our best defenders.

I was very dissapinted with Molloys game gave away silly frees.

Taz was once again crucified by the Umps.

Kinnear i fear will not be dropped because of his marks.

Cole i feel is in danger of getting dropped for Scotty or McGough.

Overall a good game but not great.

Thanks

I have to admit, I was laughing myself silly at Presti's graceful gallops out of defense.:D:D:D

I thought Cole was good, he stitched up Medhurst who is the type of player who could damage us especailly with Clement out. I thought Cole might be a bit too unacountable for Hasleby but he was able to smartly run off his player and was never outmarked by Hasleby who is a great mark for his size.

I think the fact that we still do have some improvement to do is a positive. We beat Freo, who have been playing really well, by 41 points, and we still, I believe, our best footy ahead of us this season. I think we can improve and this is the right end of the season to be getting better.

Whilst there were some shocking disopsal from our boys at time we came up with the result.

Hasleby and Medhurst did nothing significant today which was the opposite of the last time we played them. Well done Richie.

Johno has become a new player since the break. Very damaging.

Josh had a test and he passed it better then I ever could have imagined. 3 goals ain't too bad as well.

Taz impressed me with his marking in greasy conditions. Nice assists as well.

Bucks, Burns and now you could say Woey(after the last few weeks) were their usual selves. Nice.

Brodie did the job on Bell and hurt him the other way as well. Amazing turnaround.

Presti came back to the form of last year. Gave us run of the HB-line as well!

Shaw knocked up 13 possessions in less then 2 quarters where his disposal was a feature. Did us proud.

O'bree snuck under the guard again. I guess he could be called a goal kicking midfielder now.

IMO our defence has been the reason why our form has turned around so well over the break. So far it has conceded 85, 50 and 58 since the break and it was great to do so well without Clement who is very important to our structure.

Good to string 3 in a row with Richmond(No Cambell, No Johnson, No Gapar to take Taz), Carlton and Geelong coming up

Great win against quality opposition.

Cole was a key in our win, there is no chance of him being dropped for next week. He had 19 possesions in the backline and produced heaps of run from defence. He absoloutly smashed Medhurst and as much as I'd like Cole to move into the midfield I think for now he can stay in defence. Lonie has been a bit quiet I think he needs to work on his ball getting ability so he can damage the opposition with his amazing disposal. Lonie is probably the second best kick in the team behind Buckley. A move in to the midfield for a while should give Lonie more experience in ball-getting and if he goes well he will be another "impact" option on the midfield.
Brodie's turn around has been amazing, him and Lokans new roles as negating midfielders have freed up Licuria, Burns and Woey to become attacking players.

Another 4 quater effort except for the first 10 minutes of the game and the first 10 minutes of the last quarter.
As someone else said there is heaps of improvement left.
It is the second level players that are coming good.

Holland and O'Bree are two good examples. O'Bree seems to be enjoying the forward line and Holland is loving it in the middle.

And yes BJ played a good game - you won't hear me say that too often.

Kinnear is wasting everyone's time including his own.
Cole was just OK, he really needs to improve his kicking skills.

Presti was great
Cloke was fantastic

Burns and Bucks were a class above every one else.

Agreed.

Lonie has to learn how to be a bit more of a receiver at times. He will be a very dangerous outside player when he learns this.
