I think Hawthorn might go with Hartlett at 26, he's bigger then Copping and we have a few players Coppings size already, the size thats not really big enough to play KPP, but at 194 cm and still growing, Hartlett is the man for us I think, apart from that not much wrong, I think Kirkby and or Grundy will slip to late teens maybe early 20's, abit like Paul Johnson did a while back!

I don't know what all the fuss is about Ben Sharp. He is a very overrated player who hangs out all day and collects easy kicks. If he expects to play at the highest level, he needs to get the hard ball and work on his disposal. I would be very suprised to see him drafted in the top 30.

let me see.........

you have Adelaide to pick up Monfries with pick #8 and by sheer coincidence by pick #24 you presume that ANOTHER South Australian in Eckermann will be available?

you idiot.............stop drinking that crap South Australian drinking water before it desolves what's left of your brain.

totally agree, very much overrated. maybe drafted in the 30-40 range. I hope richmond don't draft him with any pick. We don't need soft outside players who can't deliver the ball on either side with neither hand or foot.

Sharp is the hardest worker and the best runner in this draft
I dont know where you pull that he cant deliver the footy by hand or foot??

How is an outside player soft? Is N.Stevens soft? Is Peter Burgoyne soft? Is Nigel Lappin soft?

I think you should get your facts straight before you make stupid ass comments about young footy players.

Why would Sharp be in the all-australian team if he was soft and cant deliver the footy????? Why would he be rated in the first round of most phantom drafts????

He found over 30+ possies a game playing for Oakliegh. If he couldnt deliver he wouldnt have played one game for Oakliegh.

Mate I think you have no idea what your talking about.

you have to be kidding. how can you even compare Sharp with Stevens,Lappin and Burgoyne? They are neither soft or exclusively outside players . They find space and create and get the hard ball. Lappin played with fractured ribs in the 2003 G.F.- must be a every soft player.

How he made All-Aust. has everyone beat, as he wasn't in the top 6 in Vic. Metro's awards in the Championships.

He doesn't chase and zones off his opponent. He can run and thats he's best assest.

You must be a mate or connected with Oakliegh to be a fan of Sharp's because he's not rated by other TAC clubs. He has a great CV- god knows how or why.

Sharp would have been the most tagged player in the TAC cup in 2004. This would leed you to believe that he was rated fairly highly by other TAC teams.
As far as being soft, well he trained and played with a fracture in his leg, so i do not think that he is to soft at all. I believe he will be drafted in the first round and that would show why he has a great CV.
There are a lot of people on these threads that are just pumping up there own good selves. There time could be better spent writing possitives about players and offering contructive criticism when needed.

Yep soft outsider like all the Oakleigh boys
 still managed to win games though..
i know sharp isnt the most loved footballer on this site, but he will get picked up from picks 15-30. he was lucky making the all-australian team, and don't think he was selected from his performace in the carnival. however, his fitness is his biggest asset and in modern day football thats what most of the game is about anyway. most of the KIDS on this site that bag him would only be saying that cause they have played against him. and hes probably towled you up!
