#6 Pressed Rat and Warthog - Wheels of Fire ......... I like the crazy lyrics

Youtube comment: taurotar 3 years ago
"The bass line that Jack Bruce plays when Clapton starts his solo is an English folk song called "Green Bushes." It was actually utilized by the British composer Vaughn Williams in his "English Folk Song Suite." I think Fairport Convention may have used it as well. It's totally referential and lost on most Americans but most 'Brits' get it. There are some good links on YouTube to different versions if anyone is interested."

Prince - Cream ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As you said, Badge, Deserted cities are top 5 for me
Interesting, ta. Love Deserted Cities in particular.
Now for my left field top 3 :p

#3 SUNSHINE OF YOUR LOVE - Disraeli Gears

#2 Crossroads - Wheels of Fire

I was working at my dream job in a record shop in the school holidays and they were playing this. It was the first time I noticed bass on a record as it pumps out of the one channel. Great the way Bruce's style is melodic yet powerful.

#1 White Room - Wheels of Fire
I think they only had two Top 40 hits, this and Sunshine of Your Love. [Edit: Actually, there was Strange Brew and Badge which made Top 40 in Oz and 11 singles altogether - most of the others charted in other countries.]

Catchy psychedelic riffs and a great showcase for their talents.
RIP Jack Bruce

Nice! Never heard of The Coffee Song - only on Euro pressings it seems :)
