I wouldn't be keen on Dal Santo either. Richmond lack players who can perform under pressure. Tough inside midfielders who can kick, but not fall down whenever tackled or need to kick quickly.

Dal Santo given time and good delivery is one of the best uses of the ball, but at Richmond he would come under heavy attention, and his skills tend to go down. Without Hayes, Harvey and Ball providing constant support, Dal Santo has not performed as well as in the past, which I feel would be even worse at richmond. He would be much better off at a side like Collingwood or Essendon.
If we got Dal Santo id move Lids into the middle. The opposition will then have to decide on whom to tag.Lids or Dal Santo

If Riewoldt did leave St Kilda (which is very unlikely), we would want a LOT in return.

If he went to Richmond I think you would need to get another club involved. The saints would be after top 10 draft picks, quality midfielders with pace, a ruckman and big, strong key defenders. Deledio is the only player on your list that fits any of those descriptions and I think he would be untouchable.

St Kilda would have NO interest in Shulz, Raines etc or 3rd round draft picks.

A deal would need at either a top 3 draft pick or star midfielder, a quality defender/ruckman and a second round draft pick. OR, a top 3 pick, a star midfielder and a second round pick.

These are the kind of combos we might go for
Lewis, Wood, Pick 20
Salopek, Pick 3, Pick 25
N. Jones, Bate, Pick 2
Wells, Hale, Pick 20

you sure thats enough?

We also need guy's who can hit a target. Dal Santo may not be the toughest guy going around but his decision making and skills are as good as any one going around. We shouldn't forget that Cogs is set to return next year and he should add abit of muscle.

The problem is his skills fall under pressure, and at Richmond he will come under heavy pressure all the time. Tivendale is a superb kick, but put him under pressure and he is useless.
