N. Riewoldt

The fact is that if Riewoldt threatened to leave the Saints, then they would take whatever we offered them as they could eventually lose him for nothing.

Riewoldt is looking more and more likely to leave the Saints at the end of the year as for one they have a dud coach, they have a great list that doen't know how to play.

He would be more likely also to come to Richmond because of Browny and his Cousin also playing at the club, so hopefully we can make a play and get him at years end.

And as Richo Rules said above me, I would like more to get Dal Santo before Nick, we have plenty of forwards but not many class midfielders, Dal would add heaps to our team and he would be the key midfielder we have been looking for.

Dal Santo...oh my god dont make me drool haha can you imagine him in the yellow and black? we really do need that class through our midfield dont we?! i hope TW and Greg Miller are on his back and in his agents ear as we speak!

To add to that he couldnt even get a starting 18 position this week in the Bulldogs line-up tigerT.

:)For all the noise made by Bulldogs and Hawks supporters in recent years, Deledio is clearly a cut above the likes of Griffen, Roughhead, Franlin, Williams and Lewis in terms of output and consistency!
Pure fact. Griffen is struggling and Franklin has managed to get his hands on the ball a mere handful of times in the three games since kicking his haul of nine against the Dons.
Deledio was down last week, but clearly the most consistent over that three year span......Tambling included!

I went on record and put my balls on the line last year about Polak becoming a tiger .

I don`t have mail as strong as what it was on Polak ... BUT ... very strong murmerings about Nick Riewoldt .

"HIGHLY" doubt he will be a Saint next year .

One Greg Miller is already sharpening the pencil . Going to make a huge play for him , but going to be a much bigger and harder fish to land

Trust me ... we will come bottom ;)

And he wont be the only one to go ... they are a rabble and are about to implode

Absolutely fantastic news if all this is true.

Saying that we will finish bottom, is that just you or is there a big green tank hovering around outside Punt Road... ;) I'd be ecstatic if we were tanking, it means we aren't as bad as our ladder position suggest, we get top picks, we play more kids, we get 1st pick in PSD to make a play for Nick with and the group of young players will bond together through the tough times.

Four daughters IDGAF and your balls are probably past their use by date nowadays. No way will St Nick be a tigerboy next year.

What would happen if say Carlton offered pick 3 + 19 and a player for him and we only offered Schulz and 18?

Can Nick refuse the trade?

Or can St Kilda screw him despite him saying he wants to come to Richmond only.

Nick has to accept the deal, doesnt have to go anywhere and can reject anything tabled and enter pre season draft....In my mind very remote prospect of him leaving, funnier things have happened though

Not saying that I have "heard" anything, but I do guarentee that either Nick Dal Santo and/or Nick Riewoldt will not be at the Saints next year.

BOOKMARK IT!

The place will implode, you can feel it without hearing any "whispers" at all.

Grant Thomas, as much as he lacked as a coach, was a leader and treated them all as family. Buttess cant expect his players to simply ignore him now, of course they'll talk.

Buttess is becoming a dictator down there trying to control every aspect and you feel sooner rather than later they'll fragment severly.

Not to mention the gameplan doesnt make the most of either Nick.

We finish bottom, Carlton win more than 4.5 games. Saints finish say 12th

We give pick 1 and player for Riewoldt and their pick 5?

thats exactly why we wont get him. We wouldnt be prepared to give more than that, because we won't give our number 1 pick away

Which is why it's PSD or nothing for both Nicks.

Do we have a place in operations for Grant Thomas at RFC? ;)

That'd be icing on the cake I'd imagine to get Dal or Riewoldt, particularly Riewoldt.

I heard the same rumour a couple of weeks ago. I also heard that we were going to offer a position to Grant Thomas (which will encourage the Nick to come across). Don't know if the source is reliable but it would be nice if it happened. There's a long way to go before trade time though... I'm not getting too excited yet.

Is he becoming unhappy at St Kilda? Would he want to join his cousin? Is he worth pursuing? Could we offload schulz and a draft option for him? Do we pick him up via the PSD? We wouldnt need Kingsley if we got him.

Imagine a forward line consisting of.. Hughes, J.Riewoldt, N.Riewoldt, Richo, Brown.

Ask Grant Thomas

There is no f)*&^% way that thomas woul get ajob at richmond, we have long memories, and TW doesnt wear aflak jacket to keep the knives off his back.

Imagine the recruiting page next year.

Chris Judd (pick 1 in Pre Season draft)
Nick Riewoldt (traded for player x and draft pick x)

Wouldnt be such a bad off season

Ok, it'd be nice to have a Dal Santo or N. Riewoldt come to Richmond, but i'd think we would be a joke if we put on Grant Thomas just to seal the deal, then get rid of Grant and he takes the players with him again...
