I feel like those jumping on Barlow are making a mistake. His scoring ability was never in doubt, just his midfield minutes. Fyfe played half a game and Mundy sat out, so why are so many people seeing this as an indication of how the real season is going to look?

Because everyone knows his talent is wasted on the team leaving him up forward, including Ross. It was aparent last year and its the same again this year.

The consensus seems to be this year will see more mid/fwd rotations.

Barlow should see more midfield time, just like Bennell/Neale/Mundy/Knyfe will probably see more fwd time.

A couple more NAB games to go, so wait & see what RTB does.

Yeah, I understand the logic I just don't agree with it. I can't really see either Mundy or Neale spending any meaningful amount of time forward, nor Fyfe spending too much time there just to facilitate some extra midfield minutes for Barlow.

He's also not exactly cheap, given he's priced at 93.5, so I guess I just don't see the hype. He's a much better potential upgrade after we see how things play out in the real stuff, imo, but each to their own.

Apparently Fyfe was playing with pain killing injections. I doubt that, why would they bother playing him full knowing they would inject him with pain killers?

That is from a supercoach group I am in on Facebook.

He had a poor year last year, he was played out of position and he still averaged 93.5

Other than Dusty, Deledio and maybe Montagna there a few other forwards who look capable of averaging around the 100 mark. IMO 95 looks like the pass mark for forwards this year.

He is a lock for me.

Was happy with Corey's game last night.

Didn't think Broad was that good. Don't think he'll be a round one debut.

Pretty sure Marcon is the front runner for the upgrade spot, at least amongst the supporters, so that's a plus.

Did anyone ever see that Collins bloke? At least the other Freo rookie defender scored well.

I love Mabior.

Marcon 102k, win. Just screams in and out of side type though.
