I had pick 9, yet somehow ended up with lids, sauce and danger. Pretty happy with that!

You got Danger with pick 9, WTF!? How did he dip so low??

I don't think that's true at all.

Watching live, it seemed to me that the ball spent most of it's time in the middle, but if anything skewed to Brisbane's end.

Lions forwards were underwhelming to say the least, and most of GC scoring (esp in first half) was with long kicks into an empty forward line.

The strong cross wind did mean that most of the game most of the players were within 60m of the ball.

Maybe it was a bit congested for the likes of KK and Malceski...

I know GC went in pretty tall, but Bris did consistently look under sized at both ends.
Cutler was beaten more than once 1-1 by taller opponents.
Schache is a long way off.
Nicholls was pretty good. (Up against nothing tho).

Now, off to watch the replay...

Which game did you watch? We had 5 kpfs playing yesterday, 4 of whom are around the 200cm mark

Coaches have said we're gonna go pretty full strength in our first game then mix it up in the others. Libba and Bontempelli should suit up.

No. The ball was camped in their forward line for about 70% in the first quarter, evened up a bit in the second quarter. Then much the same in the second half. We spent about 10 minutes trying to clear the ball from our defence - repeatedly kicking it out of bounds/on the full. Conditions were just way too much.

I don't think Cutler had much of a defensive role. Very much floating off half back, but didn't provide much offensively. Harwood was the one that did a large bulk of defending and attacking - very impressive.

Schache is not a long way off. The kid played only two quarters of football, basically set up a goal, nailed a kick to a teammate and narrowly missed a shot on goal because of heavy winds. He showed plenty from what I saw.

More impressed by Currie. Archie almost beat Nicholls in the ruck, while Currie played more of a team-orientated role.

Actually considering Rosa at GC a lot more now. Played well NAB1. Yes they'll get midfielders back but think his experience is quite highly rated at Suns.

Scored pretty well for WC last year when he wasn't injured or wasn't sub. Does anyone have his average from last year if we take out games he was sub in?

Averaged 89 last year if you take the subs vest out.

I had pick 2 in a 12 person draft and got Gaz, SMartin and Sheil with my first 3.

Did everyone in your league get the Boyds mixed up? 6th round? Surely not.

Interesting, my leagues went Goldy, Gaz, Fyfe, Danger, Pendles.
Deledio went in the first round, at 11 I think.
Then Shaw early second.
