NAB Challenge Discussion

I won't pretend I'm any authority, but I'm struggling to see other rookies at this point I can lock in to play games and make money. We still have 2 more weeks of NAB and the round 1 teams announcement but not a lot of the cheaper priced rookies filling me with a lot of confidence to play regularly or score reasonably. Hoping that changes because rookies who aren't earning money are useless.

He will play, which at this point makes him pretty close to a must have

But as others have said, the line is now very, very blurry between 'rookies' and guys in the low to mid (to high) $200's that should play and potentially score better...

It really does make look like it'll be the most interesting start to the year for ages.

Yep, put him in and I have a lovely midfield but very shallow def and fwd lines.

Take him out and I have upwards of 4 (possible) keepers in def and fwd lines but I feel sad and violated.

Do Swans have any genuine small fwds?

Not since Buchanan and Schneider have we really had a small specialist forward.

Papley literally looks like a half breed of those two. He has to get promoted off the rookie list but I thought he looked ok tonight, other than that fresh air kick his finish around goals was quite good.

It will be out of him , Rose or Hewett for a forward role in Round 1

Unsure exactly, but yeah it something like that, between 6% and 9%.

He injured his ankle and didn't return after qtr time.

Yeah I feel your pain man. I was settled with a team for a couple weeks, but with the serious lack of cheap rookies showing themselves I'm forced to start tinkering again.
So annoying
