In all seriousness he is an overpaid player in todays game.

Why should he command the big $$$$$$ as a key forward when he cannot kick?? He provides presence for sure and can take a mark with good hands but gee whiz on that money and all this time at the top level you cannot be missing goals on a REGULAR basis from 30m out.

He was out of contract and his Father bent over the Pies with the $$$ he got for his son not long ago on a mega deal.

Not sure on the annual splits, but think it's 'only' 750-800k/yr (a bit like Dale Thomas, he's likely closer to 600 than 750k/yr) It is hard to argue that he's lived up to that price tag since 2013. He is looking to discuss an extension, I think, should have a much higher performance-linked component if it happens. Actually reckon he'll be productive this year, we have an OK fixture through the halfway mark, but it's no use if he can't convert.
