Scored over 100 just 4 times last year in a 50 goal season. Ave 79. Do you think he's going to improve by almost 20 ppg to be a keeper?
Rotating through the midfield now, Bulldogs will improve, he has had another pre-season. Will definitely push the 100 point average in my opinion.

Is he really going to be playing midfield minutes in the regular season though. There's a big queue ahead of him and the Bullies need him forward.

Apart from Libba who else is missing from this midfield outfit? There is no reason he can't have short bursts in the middle. Why would they be doing it in the NAB Challenge games if it wasn't a plan for the regular season?

I'm still sceptical. I expect the first choice mids will just spend more time on the ball during games. But I suppose with the new interchange cap it's possible. Even if he does it's still a big step to increase his average by 20. I'm expecting mid to high 80s would be a fair average for him this year.

I did say he would push a 100 average, doesn't mean he will get there. 90-95 would still be a solid return.

Anyone considering Hunter over Libba? He has 25 disposals and a game-high 13 handball-receives. #AFLFantasy

90-95 is just what you don't want. Pretty marginal average as a F6. Why not spend another 50k and get someone who is much more likely to be a keeper?

Suckling and Daniel both had 17 disposals apiece at 100% disposal efficiency. #SuperCoach #NABChallenge

I'm happy to start with him and see how he goes. He has the potential to have a high ceiling. If I need to trade him then I trade him.

I really like Caleb Daniel. Like, a shitload. Has always had excellent disposal efficiency, and always been able to find it.

Not sure if I can do it, but I did put him on my watch list for a reason.

In contention with Vandenberg and Hall now for F4

His game against North in round 22 last year is the type of game I'd expect from him regularly once he goes up the field a bit more, 21 possies, 98SC.

He got 20 possies or more only twice last year, a normal game for him was 2-3 goals and 12-16 possies

An extra 5 possies a game would be the 20 ppg we would want, personally I think he'll be in the 85-92 range, next year if Boyd starts hitting his straps is probably when we jump on Jake.

Also, there were only 5 players who had played 17 or more games to average 100 or more last year. So if Stringer can average in the 90's, that's acceptable in my eyes. Obviously I would like to have my whole forward line averaging over 100 by the end of the season, but it's proven to be slim pickings in the past.

Yeah Stringer was on my radar but played no where near as much midfield as i was suspecting he would.

With Daniel emerging and Bont looking like a beast.. mixed with Dahlhaus, the return of Libba and Koby Stevens was prominent.

I'm going to say his midfield minutes won't be anywhere near what we were hoping.

Pass for me.
