SKIPPER Tom Rockliff will return to his origins as a forward this season under a Lions plan to bolster the club’s inexperienced attack.

Brisbane want to play in their attacking half and made increasing their forward half pressure and finding alternative avenues to goal a feature of their summer planning.

I dont know how this might effect his scoring

Everyone should trade him out! Thats really concerning! Im trading him right this minute, i mean, kicking 2 or 3 goals with his bag of 30 disposals wont do his game any good

Lycett to play a full game in the ruck. Nic to do the same.

Yeo will get plenty of time in the middle with Priddis our only contested mid playing. Shuey, Sheed, Redden and Hutchings all missing as a caution.

Gov playing his first NAB and will play down back. Expect a little ruck from him and a few trips forward.

Expecting improvement from Duggan and Jetta.

Why is Hutch missing? Did he injure himself against Crows?
I'll be furious if we even think of playing Gov as a ruck. Especially now we have Giles as backup.
Yeo will give me a chubby if he is pure mid this year. That would be specko!:thumbsu: **** I hope Lycett s ready to rumble.

Giles will be dropped. Simmo wants to give Lycett a go.
Hutch is just precautionary.

Is Lycett an option up at F4? Job security could be OK with Nic Nats tank and McGovern would be of better use down back and swinging fwd occasionally.
Yes and he can only improve but at only 23 years of age i can't see him having a break out year.
Next year he could but wont be Gawn like as he's not a sole ruckmen.
Tippett or Sinclair above lycett for F4 IMO.

I meant, I'll be furious if we play gov in the ruck season proper. Hutch precautionary because he hurt his ankle IIRC?
Hutch is fine. Can't remember exactly what it was. It was on one of the articles posted in the NAB thread on our board.

Game day. :rainbow:

Brooksby to handle most of the hitouts tonight apparently. Nic Nat may have a day out! haha
Yes please! NicNat to score 250 tonight so everybody jumps on and Stef Martin and Goldy's ownership % drops.

Here is the Suns squad for tonight. Very weak team and I see them being absolutely smashed tonight.

Surely it's no surprise that all the big guns stayed home. Especially when their last NAB game is at home. Then have to travel west again to play Freo in round 2.

Though I am interested to see how Fiorini goes tonight. He's been on my radar for a while.

exactly the same as what every team will do, (Fyfe, Danger etc) Mids resting up forward. Wont affect him at all in my opinion

Will only be playing half of the game tonight.

Against the Eagles, Fiorini gets a chance to implement his off-season work in a young Suns team missing most of its leaders.

He will play half a game.

"I'll give it my all and try and get into the game, get a kick or defensive pressure and try to not get found out," he said.

"It's not about disposals, but learning and embracing the moment. It's my first senior game so it'll be a good
