It's not based on NAB alone. Anyway just my opinion. Viney I believe would probably just out score both this year.
Thoughts on Salem? Role and avg. for the year, thanks in advance.
I had a look at him few weeks back and won't be picking him. Will be a valuable player for us but think he could average around 75-80. I would love to see him go bigger and probably will in future. Better value in Lonergan and Sheridan.

I just don't think he's a good SC option, expecting him to drift in and out of games and doesn't seem to have a big ceiling. I don't think he's capable of 70 average, Garlett is probably our best small forward and he doesn't average that. Played 3 full games last year for Pies and scored 43, 45 and 53.
From a purely Melbourne perspective I think Petracca and Hunt offer better value for less

Given other options around his price you'd be silly to take him over Parker who is 40k more or Ollie Wines.
But keep in mind he averaged 100 last 10 games.
When he's not tagging he is quite handy.. only 21 years of age and plenty of improvement left.
It's not as absurd as you suggest but i wouldn't take him over Wines and Parker.
