Newman, Paps & Hewett?

Personally I think Hewetts looked good it patches but I'm not sure if there is a spot for a player of his type in your 22.

Newman's skills have been pretty poor but they're better than they've been tonight. I've liked him as a player since he was playing with the Dolphins. He's got a bit of mongrel and is a good contested mark.

Hewett and Papley will be fighting for that forward spot that Goodes has left vacant , plus Rohan won't be back until at least Round 4 . Whoever gets it could be in the team for a while.
I actually think they'll persevere with Newman, even with McVeigh back in the team.

Sam Reid, Ted Richard, McVeigh and McGlynn to come in, I don't trust any Swans rookies (aside from Mills, who could easily play 22 games)

Reid will replace Nankervis and I think Talia will make way for Richards

McVeigh will come back in but it could be at Zak Jones's expense.

McGlynn has missed a lot of football Since the middle of last year and had a late start to the preseason, will probably need some Neaflol time.

Mills is safe as houses.

Newman will be given every chance.

Will be out of Hewett and Paps for forward role, whoever gets it will be given a good go at it.

I think there will be 2-3 debutants come round 1
