Ok .....What;s up with Barker???

They say he has had a great pre-season.

Ok a "minor" setback that incedently keeps him out for 5 weeks.

Will he play round 1?

Surprising that Murphy isn't getting a game before Birchall,

Unless Murphy and Little pulled up sore after the Essendon game, it seems weird that a first year player would great priority over the 2 second year players. I know its just a practice match but Little has had only one practice game since been on the list, and Murphy about the same plus one AFL game.

Maybe Birchall has impressed them more already.

28 players named, and only 24 play, so 4 for the journey..........Is Bailey from W.A. ? But with the exception of Spida, this is the dress rehearsal for selection night before the 22 named for Launceston..........these are the blokes that will be considered. Geez I hope McGlynn plays in Tassie, I think Ben Beams busted his jaw there last year. Was that one of two or three broken jaws the tough little bugger suffered ? Tonight will be very good experience for our rucking division. And another game under the belt for big Zac and Birchall. Birchall and Croady, a left foot and a right foot thumping kicks out of the backline..............bewdy !

Coming from an eagles supporter...

You guys will play finals footy this year im sure of it!

Willo was brilliant up-forward again and struggled against an eagles backline that was Missing its most important player in Glass and Wirra having his first hit-out for the season. Mitchell was bloody Brilliant! B.O.G by a country mile.

Good Luck for the season Fellas.
