GWS side looks like it has plenty of its regulars in! Lots of their senior players. I hope we remain at least competitive with our much younger squad.

The GWS site seems to be better. I couldn't get the GC stream going.

I love Stanley, but he needs to play much better than this if he wants to play senior football. Bombing into the F50 with Lonergan against 5 GWS defenders is not good leadership.

Danny and Matt Shaw have highlighted their deficiencies this match. A few of our rookies have shown something. Glenn looks strong and has good footwork in traffic. Brooksby has a presence in the contest. Miller smart with the footy. Encouraging.

Bull is still in our best 22, Shaw, Tape, Gorringe not so much. Hard to tell how seriously we are taking this. Our disposal, pressure, decision making all poor except for a few small patches. Giving GWS too much space. There are still a few spots up for grabs in round one but there are some guys who are playing themselves out of it.
Loving the attack of the man.. Especially forward 50 pressure..
Though I have seen I think lemmens and not sure who else charge at the man n hit them hard just after GWS get a kick or handball off..

Disgraceful disposal. Will never win a game when your major ball winners are running around at 60% compared to GWS's 80+%
For Gorringe on the wing.. I've only seem him in about 3 passages of play.. He always seem to be about 5m off a loose GWS guy forward of centre who ends up with the ball
Yep fair to say at the minute that experiment is not working.
Put Gorringe at full fwd. Bugger Josh Hall off to the bench.
These are the games he needs to stand up and show his worth.
