Looks like if we win we will be playing adelaide on a fri / sat night

If we win will anyone be making the trip to s.a next week? Just checked flights to s.a & there already pretty expensive.

If we lose to Saints, can we still make it?

I don't think we'll beat the Saints after looking at the selected squads.

We would virtually need to win 100 vs 5 pts. It wont be in subi

If it is Adelaide V West Coast it will be in WA, I guarantee it. We typically don't get great attendance to the pre-season, even grand finals and there is no rule about the top qualifier hosting the match.

We have not traveled all nab cup. They will take that into account. I dont think there 2 stressed about a sell out, if they were worried about making coin they wouldnt be playing games in ballarat & albury. Also if all media r coming over from vic they will wanna play in adelaide as its closer.

I think they would want to maximise the attendance to the GF. They removed the rule of highest qualifier hosting after we hosted and had poor crowds.

now that may not necessarily be the case this year with a new coach and playing a very attacking style but I'm not sure that they'd take the chance of it being a fizzer of a crowd.

No one goes to games at AS though. The AFL will surely seek to maximise attendance.

EDIT: what he said.... really wanted a Vic game v Hawks though.

Will most likely be a Melbourne team playing Adelaide anyway.

If they want to fit in with s suitable time well s.a fits in. With perth 3hours behind melb it will b hard 2 c that fit in if they want a sellout starting the game @ 6pm on a fri or sat night?

That best for the broadcaster line in there kills it being at Subi for me if we were to make it.

Crowds = Patersons
Best for broadcaster = SA

Im not sure its gonna matter because i really can't see us beating st kilda they have brought over a monster side and we have so many missing.

Adelaide should host it regardless of who they face next weekend. They've finished on top.

I hope they face us :)

Not yet they haven't :D
As usual the AFL changes the rules when it pleases. In previous years the team that finished on top hosted - but not anymore.

With Geelong looking gone, we can still make it with a loss if;

Hawks lose and Freo lose.

Win and we're in.

Afl press release has confirmed if we win game will be in s.a gotta start making travel arangements

I'm excited.:D

Time to add another trophy to our cabinet :thumbsu:

Hopefully we go in with close to our full-strength side.
