I'm almost positive this was a joke considering how he went in the last derbyFair point. But he has had at least one game's match practice.

Scooter is the worry for me, looks big and cumbersome.
I think he will be the one player that will play a blinder , as i watched him closely in all the games and he seemed to be the one player that was backing off quite abit and maybe saving it for the season ahead.
It has also been said he has increased his tank and is not far away from Mastens elite tank.
Fyfe played.Looking forward to watching how our midfield goes in the derby. It is still the big question mark hanging over our premiership credentials and we were pummeled by Freos midfield in the last derby with no Fyfe I believe and the Swans also smashed us.
We really need to improve our centre square clearances to give our forwards the best chance to convert open forward 50 opportunities.

Fyfe played.
We will be minus Lynch, Swift, Brown, Hams, Nic, and more than likely Kerr.
We will add Glass, Rosa, Kennedy, LeCras and probably Lycett and Cripps.
More run one the wings, more potent forward line and Glass is so important for us. It would be nice for Kerr to get up to help out with those clearances though!
it's not just that we all see the problems the midfield is having and it's not just that we are not expecting Kerry to play - it's that we don't see reasonable options being trialled in the nab cup. Surely Hutchi or Carter would be the obvious guys to work alongside Pridda and provide a bit of enthusiasm and hardness in the middle. Neither of them seem to have been given a go in that role. If we can't win the clearances, I can't see us beating Freo (or Hawks).
How's Masten for inside work? For some reason I thought he played on ball a lot in juniors... but struggled to get time onball with the guys you already have in place
Any chance that he'll step up to do more of the clearance work?
It's just his foot skills on the outside are far better than most we have. Plus a lighter frame than most, the coaches have tried to develope his outside game more. Still has good hands in close and hopefully will become a more rounded players as his career progresses
haha it's so funny that we are saying this now. he must have really worked on his kicking, as well as his groin being healthier than everIt's just his foot skills on the outside are far better than most we have. I had a quick look but couldn't see anything, do we have a scratch match this week or are we having another week off?
No we don't i think we will use this week and next to tighten up our skills.
Dodgy as, I'd rather we get an intense game (like collingwood) than miss another pre season game.
We start a week earlier than most other sides though.

But then there's another weeks rest isn't there?
True, but it's about having a week off before Round 1.
Yeah I'm just saying we played round 1 nab cup then took a break then played round 2 and 3 then took a break then play round 1, take another break and play round 2.
It's all over the place and so inconsistent.
Dunno about awesome, but i'm more referring to the fact that people are opening saying that he is one of our better kicks, considering he wasn't that popular on here for the first few years. He is getting much more penetration on his kicking now, and it's obviously improved, which is a combination of his OP clearing up and more strength in his legs. He's always been an awesome kick.
Who just saw that goal from rich in nab final... Niiiiice that's exactly why he should be in gold and royal next year..!
