Rafa Nadal is no longer relevant at the business end of major championships. the effort needed to dislodge Federer from top spot for the few months he held it has finished his career.

i support port passionately no matter what.I am not a bandwagoner and its 2 different sport with no relationship.I admire nadal as a person and i wish i had his work ethic and dedication.Yes i am a huge fan, call me whatever u want, i am here thick and thin, success or failure...defending him.Unlike federer fans who have disappeared.Now thats a bandwagoner...while i am a fan.

I have accepted for a long time that Fed is on the slide and Nadal is undisputed #1 player in the world. I am an unashamed Federer fan. Doesn't mean we can't appreciate Nadal. He's a freak too. Fed has been the most gifted player ever, Nadal the most tenacious, competitive and dominating, physically strong player ever. And I accept Nadal will likely easily take over with most wins in Grand Slams.

But, that doesn't mean we need to share your orgasm at this or that you need to continually gloat, as if you have some role in this progression in mens' tennis . Nadal would be embarrassed to read your diatribe, unless you really are still a child.

It's human nature to drop off the written support after a drop off in form and age etc. Reckon in 10 years you'll still be a Nadal tragic? Don't see anyone onlining about Sampras any more. Enjoy his success while it lasts, but don't try and create a hatred for Nadal that doesn't exist by your unnecessary immature support.

ffs really, you guys are soft.I am not allowed to celebrate rafas win when i get crap dished out here continiously? look at any forum where this doesnt happen.Look at the main afl board, look at other tennis forums.I will always be a rafa fan even when he retires.I never really supported anyone before rafa but i did follow tennis before.

Nadal is well aware of the stuff that goes on.Infact if you read his fansite, they are worse than me over there.I dont see anyone deleting those posts.One thing is for sure, u guys can dish it out but cant take it back.Thrawn is an example of that

Easily take over most grand slam wins? I really think the word 'easily' has been used inappropriately here.

Fed's on 16 ahead of Sampras on 14. I'd hardly call that 'easily'. I'd expect nadal to finish as one of the all-time greats, but 'easily' would mean he gets 19-20 at least in my opinion.

Sampras' record was no mean feat...
