After 13 regular season games and 3 rounds of finals, it's all come down to this.

First versus second.
Two time premiers versus two time premiers.
WA team versus WA team.

It's the Perth Boomers taking on the Mandurah Hornets, in a battle that will decide the first ever three-time NAFL premiers.

It's all for the flag, and it's all for the shiny new badge.

Poll will be open for 3 days
Clash jumpers will not be in effect (home vs home)
If there is a draw, there will be a 24 hour period of extra time (re-vote)
Do not vote for yourself (especially you, Freight Train)

Big congrats to Freight Train for another NAFL flag! Commiserations to BW, a terrific design that would have been a worthy winner as well.

These guys continue to set the standard, it's up to the rest of us to bridge the gap.

Congratulations to the Perth Boomers and Freight Train from your favourite New Zealand based franchise, the Wellington Seawolves.

However, in 2020 we will be celebrating both our 10th anniversary and winning the NAFL title.

On that note, Tigers are on hiatus for 2020 and I'll be running with something different

1) Good, Waikato will be no worse off than what it is now (which isn't hard seen it is the worst place anyway).
2) Is return to the Vikings on the horizon?

If only real AFL clubs were this inventive with their guernseys, it's quite surprising how conservative they are in general, compared to other sports. It's as if they still have people knitting them!

Vikings are definitely under consideration but I haven't made a decision yet, just want to try something new

Damn it's really been a whole decade huh?

Well, really don't know what to say here - of course it's a huge honour to win NAFL and especially to have won back-to-back, can't believe it tbh. Of course huge props to Bacon Warrior who was just as worthy of winning as me, as well as to Don_Kay which, lets be real his home guernsey was the best thing in this comp and was just let down by the clash unfortunately.

In the immortal words of FJGD's favourite son, it's time for me to "hang up the mouse" - or at least for the foreseeable future in competitions. I take a lot of pride in running NAFL, and look forward to running it again next season but to run it and to be a contender at the same time just takes away a bit of the joy (kinda weird awarding yourself a premiership). Won't be forever, might just be for the next year or so, but regardless, that is it for the Perth Boomers. It's been a great five years developing this franchise's identity with four grand finals and three premierships along the way, but if/when I do return to competition designing, it'll be with something fresh.

Thanks to everyone who entered this season, and to everyone who took the time to vote as without all of you, there is no NAFL.

Can't wait to see what everyone has in store for the 2020 season!

Awesome stuff man, well deserved. It's incredible with just the same colour scheme and identity you can continue to push the boundaries of design.

On another note, seeming it's 10 Years of the NAFL coming up, I think a graphic that would go a long way would be one showing each of the Grand Final matchups and their kits from each year would be kind of a cool way of preserving the comps history, and it would be cool for me seeming I've only been here for a few years now.

You know what, perhaps going a bit further and creating a thread dedicated to the history of the NAFL would be the best option......

In the third post of the main thread, there’s a list of each premier with a link to that grand final if you click on the match result.

You missed an opportunity to look up Wellington's results
