Phenomenal number of repeated efforts in that clip from Nicnat - I was puffing halfway through just from watching it - only for Masto to fail to finish off the hard work.

MASTO SCORING TALLY FOR 2015: 0 goals 7 behinds

Masten has stepped it up this year but his goal kicking has been so bad considering his 2012 where he kicked 19 goals.

It's just so damn bizarre. Surely there is some specialized marking coach out there in the world somewhere?

Surely the NFL would have them.

Surely!
If you have a look he often has serious tape on some fingers and thumbs. May be an underlying issue here that isnt publicised

His marking isn't an issue for mine

If he's in a pack ..say a down the line kick from defence. He might not mark it but I rarely see anyone else mark when he's in the contest. (Does that make sense?)

Means our midfielders know it will come to ground if Nic Nat doesn't mark it. This is vital,

Also if he doesn't mark it he lands and on his feet and is still part of the contest by either laying a sheppard or by laying a good tackle on an opposition player if he gets it

This gives him two bites at the cherry in the contest. Nic's kicking needs work in my view ...his goal kicking is ok but he kicks with a bent leg. He can't hit a pass to a leading player either. For mine I'd rather see time invested in his field kicking rather than marking ....he's never going to be more than 4 marks per game anyways.

I think to summarize, you're saying "If he doesn't mark it, at least he's always creating a contest and bringing it to ground..."
