What is the meaning of your name and where did it originate from?

My name is Anita and this site I went on says, (Hebrew) means "Graceful One" Anita is a variant of Ann but has become popular in its own right

I dont know where they got the graceful bit from!

My folks are fairly religious and they called me after the 12th son of Jacob (or someone ) in the Bible, he's name was Benjamin by the way!

I prefer Ben, or sometimes Benny, to Benjamin though!

That's unfortunate. What if you're left handed?

My name means 'great ruler' or variations of the theme. Two ways of taking that, either I'm a 'ruler' as in a king or a leader of some sort or a 'ruler' as in an object about 12 inches long!
