I was wondering which team has the most all australian players on its books. My guesses would be either North, Carlton or Essendon. Can you guys name all the players your club has who have been all australian at least once in their career?

These are Carltons (I'm almost certain this is right):

Ange Christou, Lance Whitnall, Brett Ratten, Scott Camporeale, Craig Bradley, Stephen Silvagni, Matt Allan, Andrew McKay and Anthony Koutoufides. That makes nine which is quite a lot I suppose. Dunno if we'll get many this year though.

it is not that badder picture, betta than Fatty Whittnall. he's so fat, if he fell over, he'd rock himself to sleep trying to get back up! :p

as for the question

We have Farmer (2000) and Neitz (1995) as our only all australians

If you really want know you can go to the AFL web-site, in the history section, under awards, the have every team of the year from 1950.

They don't have the team the play for, but i'm sure you could pretty much work out most of them.

Denis Pagan - coach 1999
Glenn Archer - 1996, 1998
Wayne Carey - 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996(c), 1998(c), 1999(c), 2000(c)
Brent Harvey - 2000
David King - 1997, 1998
Corey McKernan - 1996
Byron Pickett - 1999
Anthony Stevens - 1998

Damien Hardwick
Sean Wellman
James Hird
Matty Lloyd
Dustin Fletcher
Mark Mercuri
Kevin Sheedy

(has misiti or long got one?)

caracella, heffernan and blumfield also played for australia last year but didnt make the AA Side

The Crows have six - we have had at least one in every season.

Current players who have been:

Jarman - 92,95,96
Smart - 91,93,98
Hart - 92,93,99
Ricciuto - 94,97,98, 2000
McLeod - 98, 2000
Goodwin - 2000

For the Bulldogs these are the ones I know of.
Grant
Johnson
Smith
West
Libberatore (possibly was once all-australian)

and in the next 3 years you will see:
Brown
Darcy
Giansiracusa (maybe)

We have one Crawford in 96,98 and 99 I think....Just out of interest did you know only 2 coaches of the All-Australian team in the past decade won the flag that year? Sheedy in 93 & 2000 and Parkin in 95.

Neil Balme, Terry Wheeler and Stan Alves are among those coaches that won Coach of the Year but didn't win the flag...and in some cases, didn't even make the Grand Final.

it wasnt until last season that it was decided that the premiership coach is to be the a-a coach, thats why last season the coach was not announced with the side, it was announced at after the grand final

X_Box, im pretty sure libber did get in the aa side, im think woewodin was the first brownlow medalist not to get aa honours
