Roast Name the GC Board Social Club: Cast your votes

The time has come for us to name our social club, a thread where we can go a little off topic and get to know each other as posters.

Note however, normal board rules apply.

The selections are chosen by the GC board posters and the most popular choice will obviously be the new name. If it gets frequented enough, and that can only happen by you, we can push admin for a sub-board.

Have fun, I think we will let this run for a month or so before we set it up properly.

I think "Outside The Flags" is the best as stated...outside/off-topic. With "Between The Flags" being for football talk.

Im a supporter of "the strip club" but if thats a no go, how about 'beyond the flags', sounds cooler then 'outside' them.

Basically...

Between the Flags....should be the name for the main board.
Outside/Beyond the Flags....the name for the off-topic board.

Imo anyway.

"The Strip" is about the only other interesting name.

Yeah I like 'The Strip Club', thats why I suggested it in the original thread but it is not to be. The fact that another club board has a bland name is hardly reason for the Gold Coast to do the same. 'Outside The Flags' is about the best of this lot. 'The White boot Brigade'.....just a thought.

It's hard to come up with names on the spot, but on the fly over the last weeks, the whole "flags" thing has turned out pretty good.
