Nas Brownlow

Unfortunately not likely among the votes today

I also got him at $501. A huge bet of $1

Brownlow so overrated. I pay more attention to AFLCA votes these days, where Nas has been polling handsomely.

Still reckon he’s a shout for AFLPA mvp

I’d say
Bont
Daicos
Naz
Dawson
Switch the top 2 for me. Rowell and Anderson will figure somewhere in the top 6. Not sure Nas's first half is enough to get him into top 3 this year.

These umpires are an absolute embarrassment
To not give the guy 3 votes for almost single handed winning the greatest 3qtr time AFL/VFL comeback in history is simply fcked
These dickeads couldn’t organise a root …
Rowell can poll 3 votes for a 17 disposal game. Nas gets 35 and four goals including one to win the game, for only 2 votes.

Perhaps it’s time to find a better way to do it as umps doesn’t seem to be it

Brownlow will never change but obviously the other two awards are more credible these days.

Four years ago Wines got a record-equalling number of votes despite not being that dominant. Last year Cripps got a record number of votes despite not being that dominant. This year Rowell got a near-record number of votes despite not being that dominant.

Not that they all didn't have good seasons but the number of votes they got were completely disproportionate. More umpires in the room has made for more groupthink and less integrity in voting.

I've never understood why the Brownlow is considered to be the most prestigious award, when its the bloody umpires doing the votes.

Coaches votes and player's association MVP hold far more weight in my eyes.

Probably the only 4 people in the stadium that day that didnt think BOG was Nas. Jack Vineys poor positioning in that last 6 seconds helped sink Melbourne too. Not that I expected the umpires to see that but in real time. However wtf

I heard [PLAYERCARD]Jack Viney[/PLAYERCARD] has reached out to Nasaiah and is asking for the keys to the Lexus.

Ended up 3rd in the MVP.

Good thing about the Melbourne game is it will be front and centre of the umpires minds next year, every chance if he's as good as this year again he gets the Cripps treatment and has an inflated count.

Coaches votes almost taking the mantle as the most credible award.

If they don't do something about the voting system, the Brownlow will tumble down the order of individual awards and become as redundant as The Logies.

What? Do you mean the Logies are not a thing anymore?

That's TV's night of nights!!

We get a washed-up D grade Hollywood celebrity in to get drunk and grab the girls arses and everything!!

Does anyone know if Sincs and Wilkie were invited for us?

I saw Steele, Nas, Windy and then the two rising star noms
