The car Bowyer won in was the same car Ambrose should've won in in 2010,but he couldn't get it re-started while saving fuel.

Safe to say the " Chase " is gone....

Won in the cup series, has won 5 of 14 races in the Nationwide.
The man can drive and I don't think he has a problem with sponsorship, which is the reason Kenseth is moving as he doesn't have enough.

Marcos, 13th. Didn't see the end of the race today. Too busy trying to see myself in the background on Speedweek. They were showing some of the races from Winton last week.

Good news is Keselowski is 10th and at present in the chase. Certainly don't want him falling outside the top 10 with 3 wins against his name. Ambrose is only 7 points behind Kahne who is the second guy outside the top 10 with a win so if he can nab a victory, he is still in this

He'll need two wins I reckon. Kyle Busch is the first guy with a win outside the top 10 and Marcos is 29 points behind him. That margin will be tough to make up, he'll need to average more than three points per race better than Busch for the next nine races. Watkins Glen becomes huge now.

The thing that will buoy all the guys outside the ten is Keseslowski (in 10th) is 34 points ahead of Carl Edwards who is 11th. If Kes can extend the gap a bit more over the next few rounds then he should be able to stay inside the top ten.

That's what I'm saying. Needs a win to join Kahne and then make up 7 points, assuming Keselowski stays in the top 10. Not a lot of incentive for Keselowsky though. He's in regardless of what he does from now on.

They were thinking if we get a caution we will have enough to finish the race and keep our track position.
Doesn't work all the time but I for 1 applaud a team for trying something different, this time it didn't work and he lost 17 spots but hey, if he had have come in for fuel when everyone else did he would have been back in the pack and probably not have moved forward.
But he had a go, rolled the dice and this time lost, thats racing. If there had have been a caution and he ran 3rd or 4th everyone would have said "what a great call by the 99".

Massive news just announced - The Dinger has failed a random drug test and has been suspended by Nascar.Sam Hornish Jr will drive the #22 tonight.He's only just arrived at the airport next door and the race starts in just over 15 minutes.

Tuned in late, but I think they said Ambrose started from the rear of the field due to a problem and then worked his way up as high as 6th, before getting shuffled back after the restart for the Johnson/pit lane incident, started to get a run on the inside again until the Hamlin incident eventually saw him hit the grass then go up track and hit the wall hard. Race over with about 6 laps remaining.

Stewart wins and left behind more carnage coming around the final bend or two. Eventful race.

Daytona was Daytona.
Nothing really happened till the last ten laps and then everyone goes crazy. The first big prang was becasue the leaders were getting onto pit road and the spotters just didn't give those behind enough notice.
When I saw them starting to wreck I was just hoping Marcos would catch a break and get lucky, didn't happen and he hit the outside wall hard.
Looks like the chase now is out of reach, MUST win at least 2 but you never know and I am sure he will give it his best shot.
Great to see that he was hosting a young guy from Oz on the Make-a-wish foundation trip. His wish was to see Marcos and the Stanley/DeWalt crew were more than obliging. Massive tick

Sadler got screwed big time.Keselowski spuns his wheels and what was Sadler to do about A.Dillion pushing him on the re-start ?
Odd they allowed Kyle & Denny to jump Kasey Kahne at the start of the race.
