0.06: "39's gonna win the race"

seconds later "Is your arm starting to hurt? I bet it's hot in there"

seconds later again.. Randomly spins.

Really discrete.

Explains why Ty Norris,Bowyer's spotter & MWR General Manger, has been banned.Doubt he'll be allowed back this year.

So what would the conversation be if Bowyer and Nelson Piquet (now driving Trucks) got together in the garage to compare stories......

Piquets in the Nationwide series now

Piquet : "At least mine was spectacular, yours was just a pissy spin"

Well this Chase farce just keeps going. Now there are 13 drivers in the Chase after Jeff Gordon was added.
Gordon got added after Nascar investigated a deal between Penske and Front Row to allow Logano to pass Gilliland late in the race. Both teams are on probation until years end.

That's just how it's is with nascar. They've been mucking around with the series rules for 10-15 years now, so you get **** like this. V8sc have modelled themselves on nascar and they do similar ****. All in the name of trying to entertain. Probably not the first time that's happened.

Nascar is the only series I reckon that doesn't need a points allocation. They have enough races and competitors that you can award the series to driver has won the most races.

( shakes head and rolls eyes )
OF COURSE it's a Hendrick car that benefits

Well a lot has happened in NASCAR over the past week but there was a race on the weekend in the form of the GEICO 400 which was won by Matt Kenseth. Kyle Busch finished second, Kevin Harvick placed third with Kurt Busch and Jimmie Johnson rounding out the top five. Some of the other chase drivers also fared pretty well, Jeff Gordon came home sixth, Clint Bowyer, 9th, Ryan Newman 10th, Carl Edwards 11th and Kasey Kahne was scored in 12th.

Marcos ended up finishing 15th.

All this means for the points table...

Code:
Driver Points Behind

Matt Kenseth 2063 Leader
Kyle Busch 2055 -8
Jimmie Johnson 2052 -11
Kevin Harvick 2048 -15
Carl Edwards 2040 -23
Kurt Busch 2040 -23
Jeff Gordon 2039 -24
Ryan Newman 2035 -28
Clint Bowyer 2035 -28
Kasey Kahne 2032 -31
Greg Biffle 2032 -31
Joey Logano 2011 -52
Dale Earnhardt Jr 2010 -53

Marcos currently sits in 21st. Next race is the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Loudon on Sunday (Monday our time). I'm sure NSWCROW will love that one. ;)

NAPA are ending their $15m a year sponsorship of MWR 2 years early and it may mean Truex Jr,the innocent victim in all this, has to be let go.There is a possibility he and the NAPA sponsorship could end up at another team next year [Richard Petty,Joe Gibbs,Jack Roush......get on the phone to NAPA now]

Aren't 5 Hour Energy looking elsewhere now too?

Congrats to 3rd Generation Racer Ryan Blaney on his Nationwide Win. Hopefully he gets more opportunities in the #22 next season.

They haven't announced yet if they'll leave.
This mornings race was a replay of last week - Kenseth ahead of Kyle
Ambrose was 18th

Road America may get a Sprint Cup race next year but Dover could lose a race [the early year race] for it.
It should be New Hampshire that loses a race.Boring races every year.

Jimmie Johnson won the AAA 400 at Dover, his 8th win at the track and he now becomes the all-time leader for wins there after previously being tied with Richard Petty and Bobby Allison on seven. Dale Earnhardt Jnr finished second with Joey Logano, Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch making up the top five. Points leader Matt Kenseth lead late but fell back through the field a little to eventually finish 7th. Marcos came home 16th, two laps down. Only 12 cars finished on the lead lap thanks to two long green flag runs which saw Johnson and co lap most of the field. McMurray and Vickers finished 11th and 12th and also came close to dropping a lap near the end of the race.

As for the points standings, Matt Kenseth still leads with Johnson moving up to second and Kyle Busch drops to third. Kevin Harvick and Gordon are 4th and 5th but are starting to lose touch with the top three. Marcos moved up one spot to 21st.

Code:
Driver Points Behind

Matt Kenseth 2149 Leader
Jimmie Johnson 2141 -8
Kyle Busch 2137 -12
Kevin Harvick 2110 -39
Jeff Gordon 2110 -39
Greg Biffle 2108 -41
Ryan Newman 2101 -48
Clint Bowyer 2098 -51
Kurt Busch 2094 -55
Dale Earnhardt Jr 2092 -57
Carl Edwards 2084 -65
Joey Logano 2083 -66
Kasey Kahne 2071 -88

Next race is the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Motor Speedway on Sunday (Monday our time).

Christ is this race ever gonna end ????

Kyle just got tagged.....was prolly Brad K :D

Kyle got JUANED !!!
Then Kyle got Kyled to finally finish him off :thumbsu:
I wonder if Brad K drove by and flipped the bird at Kyle after his crash
Good result for RPM with both cars finishing top 10

Very good considering Ambrose was way off the pace in every practice session. Pretty wild spin off turn 2 as well! Was a heap of caution's.

Everyone was spinning off track in both Nationwide & Sprint Cup practice and races. It was due to it being a new surface.A lot went off coming off turn 2,like Ambrose did.

Not a great weekend for Go Daddys pink & green livery - Danica went at turn 1 on lap 1 and in the first Indycar race at Texas James Hinchcliffe stalled on the standing start on Row 3 and got cleaned up by a backmarker who didn't see him.He didn't even get started. He did finish 3rd in the 2nd race.

Qualy washed out so Marcos starts 3rd

CARMONNNN...be nice to have 2 aussies break their oval-hoodoo on the same day

Power had won on an oval before - Texas double header a year or two ago

Massive crash at the end of the Truck race this morning, with one going for a long slide on his roof.
Kyle hit the inside wall very hard
