Was an exciting finish to the Nationwide race this morning.
Disappointed that Kasey didn't get the win and Larson having more tyre troubles.

Kryle wrecked Kahne again at a Superspeedway. Again early too. Some consolation I guess is that his team's were dominant at Eldora on the weekend.

All Star race this weekend. There are 19 already in the race, and there are 22 others (assuming Danica gets the fan vote and doesn't finish in the top 2 in the showdown) racing for 2 spots.
The 19 already locked in are Kenseth, Hamlin, Edwards, Stewart, Brad Keselowski, Newman, Biffle, Kyle Busch, Johnson, Kahne, Logano, Earnhardt Jr, Bowyer, Gordon, Ambrose, Harvick, Ragan, Kurt Busch and Martin. (Add Patrick once fan voting closes,)
The 22 that won't get in via fan vote and will have to race their way in are McMurray, Blaney, Mears, Stenhouse, Bliss, Menard, Stremme, Burton, Hill, Cassill, Yeley, Gilliland, Montoya, Almirola, Riggs, B.Labonte, Brian Keselowski, Truex, Reutimann, Nemechek, Kvapil, McDowell. For some reason you can absolutely waste your vote for 5 drivers who won't be racing (T.Labonte, Waltrip, Elliott, Allmendinger, Wise).
Format for the All Star race this year is 90 laps split into 5 segments (4 x 20 and 1 x 10). There is a mandatory 4 tyre stop between the final 20 lap segment and the 10 lap dash. Positions for the final restart with 10 laps to go will be determined by the average finishing position for a driver in the first 4 segments.

Marcos has had so many things go wrong for him this season through no fault of his own but todays incident you just could never have predicted.A cable that run the Fox camera above the pits [like you see at the MCG on GF day] snapped on lap 122 and hit the track damaging some cars.Poor Marcos ran over it and got it caught up in his car.Nascar did the unusaul thing of red flagging the race,allowing teams 15 minutes to repair cars and then re-starting cars in the spot they were in at the time [he was 15th].
BTW 10 spectators were also injured,with 3 taken to a nearby hospital.
Harvick won,Ambrose finished 10.
Keselowski,Gordon,Martin all crashed out,Kyle & Dale Jrs engine crapped out on the same lap.
