your teammates delivered you top class ball on multiple occassions and you blew it. In the final quarter you lost your nerve and became indecsive - and turned the ball over

for a senior player to turn in such a shit game on an occassion like this is completely unacceptable - the coach put a lot of faith in your abilities today and you cracked under the pressure of a big crowd - you wanted to come to richmond because you wanted a bigger market - fact is, in a game which meant a lot to this clubs history - and was basically a mini final for us - you did not handle the pressure and failed.

We can all have a go at Tivendale, Hyde, Bowden, JON -etc - but this bloke today let us down equally to any one of these individuals have in any given game - and no game more important than this


hats off to Moore for his effort on Fev - cotchin was brilliant, Polo did a great job - and both Hughes and Morton did what the had to do to make this forward line work today Unfortunately, it was the most experienced, highly paid Nathan Brown that didn't have the composure to make it a winning forward line

i tend to say what needs to be said WHEN it needs to be said - unlike many on here that have agenda's against certain players

Brown let his teammates down - there is not such thing as a "off game" in professional sport - espeically when the game meant as much as this one did to the immediate and longterm future of this club

He was given the perfect forward set up by the coach to be the game breaker. Moton was the sidekick, Hughes was the leader - and in the first half the midfield provided the quality of ball to give him perfect set shot on goal that he wasted - not good enough

he let us down with 0.7. He let us down in the final quarter where he hesitated when the game was on the line- and made terrible decisions.

when was the last time Nathan Brown won a game off his own boot? against Collingwood a couple of weeks prior to his leg snapping?

thats because Buddy is exceptional every week - nathan brown is not.

many are living in the past here - brown had the biggest stage yet for this club to show the footy world he is the genuis he likes to act like he is - he cracked under the pressure - he missed at least 4-5 goals today that were absolute gimnmes

that is the one thing the pettifer bashers cant deny - and thats if pettifer was taking those chances today - he would have converted at least for of those. with the service brown got today - petts woud have been able to win his "own ball" as well

seriously - some of you people are so full of hate that it completely blinds you to a persons strengths.

I can say without any ____ihg doubt that pettifer would have converted by foot at least 1/2 those misses Brown made today - pettifer may not chase and tackle as he should - but he can mark and kick as well as Brown. Since every chance Brown got today was kicked perfectly to him today - i dont think it is a fair stretch
