I am not a fan of him as a defender however i think he could play forward and Rusling could go in deffence because he is alot quiker then Brown and he is also big. I think Brown is better at leading then shutting down forwards so if he is successfull in moving in the forward line and Rusling is moving in the backline that would be a lot better for us then the Brown in deffence and rus up forward.

lol.

I think Dande Swan should play Full Forward because he has the most tats and the guy who plays Full Forward for the Shitters Ditch seniors has heaps of tats and he's a gun!!

There is a number of reasons to be confident with N Brown. For starters as mentioned his got all the capabilities to be great FB for the bigger fowards. Strength, good closing speed, good repeat sprint speeds and is a natural defender times his spoils well.

He has shown an ability to do this at AFL level against top opposition. He may have gone "backwards" in the opinion of some but that IMO is nothing to worry about. To start with he performed way above expectations early on, as others have mentioned key defenders generally take a long time to get the smarts as well as the correct balance in their body to be able to hold down the position at AFL level. Secondly much of the reason he had a rough year is that he was often played out of position. The return of Presti meant Brown often played on guys with more mobility then he and really struggled. He is highly unlikely to be able to play on the nimble mobile guys but post Presti he won't have too.

He's fine and will be very good for us at FB. The only thing that I would like him to do is be more of a "touch and feel" defender. He needs to start even with his opponent and with his speed he will be able to spoil most balls. At the moment he starts behind his opponent and has to react to the FF's lead and that's where he can sometimes be caught out.

If our mids put enough pressure on the ball coming in, then he'll have a terrific year.

It is a very good point. Someone needs to work with him on his positioning on a leading player. Some good footage of Lloyd completely out foxing him in a game they played on each other some time ago.
