Poor Clive has a habit of accidentally cleaning people up doesn't he? Wasn't the footage of Clive and the Melbourne player both flying through the air fantastic?
EF,
so he was OK then ???
i was worried that kid would be paralised or something, as wasnt moving at all.
typically disgusting how 7 (in Perth of course) reported the incident as a knee injury to waterhouse, without barely mentioning the melbourne kid. pricks.
brown was backing into a pack to take a mark and was pushed in the chest by a dockers player. He fell backwards and right as waterhouse (who was behind him) has lifting his left knee to jump, it caught the back of the falling browns head, and made his neck snap forward quite severly. Brown hit the ground and didnt get up, and was stretchered off with a neck brace. I just didnt see any movement out of him at all, and felt sick just watching it.
the fact there hasnt been any big story about it, must mean he was ok.
thank god.
(big news in Perth was that Waterhouses knee was ok- unbeleivable init?)
I listened to the game on the radio and the report from the rooms during the match is that he woke up in the rooms and was walking a little gingerly. I hope he is OK for next week because I heard he was playing quite well.
Yeah, he was back on the bench for the last quarter or so, smiling and talking to the other players and medics. I'd suggest he would have had a shocker of a headache though!
Wouldn't be too confident about him playing next week though dees01, they tend to err on the side of caution with concussion that bad.
